Huge misinformation that I have translated. Therefore I have edited the post. I am deeply sorry about this.
Please refer to : http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=294943

Also Mr.Chae mentioned that David Kim will come to the finals of Blizzcup.

T/N : When GOM announced the new format of GSL tour 2012. They planned out total 2 seeds to Code S and 2 seeds to Code A. Two seeds are sponsor seeds which are given to Idra and Sen. Two seeds are up/down seeds that will be given out to top performing non-Korea players. Therefore Idra and Sen did not suddenly get in that Naniwa's punishment is a separate issue.

T/N 2 : There is a rule about players' behaviours, whether Naniwa broke it or not is up to your discussion

Warning or disqualification
- 경기중에 과격한 행동으로 상대 게이머나 관중들에게 위협을 가할 때
- During a match, a player shall not offend the opponent or audience with abusive behaviours

Poll: Do you think the decision of taking code S from Naniwa is reasonable?

NaNiwa did nothing wrong and should not be punished. If he gets punished in any sort of significant way because GOM had a stupid format I might stop watching GSL.

how incredibly unprofessional of gom. naniwa didn't break any rules. they should learn from their mistake and change their rules forbidding naniwas behavior, but instead they stoop far lower than naniwa did and do this.

No, this is common for Korea culture. They take respect and pride as much as Japanese. If they don't do this, there is no way they can explain to Korean audiences.

To me, the worst part of this is the way that GOM completely sidesteps any responsibility. When naniwa and Hero threw their games, it was due to the flawed format of the tournament. Having a bad tournament-system produces perverse incentives. We saw the result of that. GOM fails to acknowledge their own part in what has happened, and instead puts all blame on one player. That is not the way to do it.

They explain that he did not break any rules and that they will endeavor to make sure situations like this never occur.

You do NOT punish a player who broke no rules because what he did isn't part of their "culture". This is possibly one of the most unprofessional things I have ever heard of a company doing.

Exactly. He's an invite to their tournament and he was really disrespectful. This is what you get.

Well played GOM. You needed to make an example of Naniwa and show people that pathetic displays like that aren't acceptable.
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

Terrible decision by GSL, and I love you guys (I was at the live Blizzcon finals in Anaheim and have watched nearly every season). Also, I'm not even a huge fan of Naniwa to be honest but the kid doesn't deserve a ban considering he didn't break any official rule.

This is actually outrageous. We have a very clear rule that there should be no punishment without law (in this case without a rule). It's really, really fucked up.

Mr. Chae #1. Happy to see this.

when did hero throw a game ?

Against DRG in group A, when he was already eliminated. He clearly didn't play to win.

Honestly, this is absolutely disgraceful from GOM.
