First off, my project can be found here: http://sacovie.appspot.com
All you need to register is a Google Account, and your Battle.net profile URL. Battle.net profiles can be accessed by logging in at www.battle.net, clicking on 'Visit StarCraft II', then clicking on your character name on the right. Then copy/paste that URL in the box after you sign in to your Google Account. This information is only used to gather your 1v1 ladder ranking.
This is a project on Zerg Scouting - can you tell what build(s) your opponent could/couldn't be doing based on what you've scouted? You'll be presented with a video of either myself or of a pro (from replays of MLG Providence) scouting, and then asked to choose what build(s) the opponent could be doing based on the video. Videos are presented in parts, with 1-3 parts per video series.
Your responses will be used anonymously in calculating various statistics, such as agreement scores between all gamers, agreement scores between leagues. One of the main goals of my project is to see how players in the different leagues identify and react to various openings by Terran and Protoss. These statistics will be publicly available on the "Statistics" page of the web site when enough data is gathered, and I'll make a follow-up post here on TL containing the various results, and graphics/charts, too.
TL:DR -- Watch videos of a Zerg scouting and then guess what build(s) your opponent could be doing. For science!
It takes about 30 minutes to finish all of the videos. You don't have to do them all, any help is appreciated.
Let me know if you have any questions or find any bugs with the system. Thanks and gl hf!
