CG vs. iG - Dominating win by iG in 30:35. A few hiccups with D/C but overall game went smoothly.

eHome vs. SK - Aggressive play by eHome makes SK pay for their mistakes. SK showed up late to venue and may not be prepared.

CG vs. SK - Not shown on stream.

eHome vs. iG - eHome starts Vayne top, Galio mid and Trist/Sona bot while iG goes for Ez top, Annie mid and Singed/Janna bot. Aggressive jungle invasion backfires on iG with them going behind 1-4. Unfortunate D/C on eHome Nocturne right when he could have ganked Annie at bot changed the flow of the game. iG's Singed eventually got tanky enough that eHome had no answer.

CG vs. eHome - Not shown on stream.

iG vs. SK - A few D/C's may or may not have affected the outcome of the game. Good Amumu ults and Talon sets up iG's Morg and Vayne to get exploded.

WE vs. [M] - Unorthodox Fiddles jungle starting item and route for WE leads to dragon attempt at 5 min but it gets stolen. WE takes farm and kills lead until a bad exchange near mid. WE goes on to 2 man baron with Fiddle/Ezreal but didn't do too much with it. WE gets one last baron and pushes in for the win.

CLG vs. Flash - CLG has lead into mid-late game with 10-2 at 25 min. Chauster gets really fed on Caitlyn and CLG crushes Flash.

WE vs. Flash - Not shown on stream.

CLG vs. [M] - SV gets early kills for CLG but [M] pushed better. CLG wins pretty much every team fight 4/5 - 1/2. This leads to CLG getting baron and finishes off [M].

[M] vs. Flash - NOt shown on stream

WE vs. CLG - WE stomps CLG but CLG's picks and actions in the game smell like a thrown game.

Semifinals #1
+ Show Spoiler +
Game 1 - Ehome takes early lead with Akali shitting on Singed top. Jungle Alistar gives Ehome several early kills but bad positioning in one team fight allows WE to get back into the game. Kog gets to farm quite a bit and Akali goes for GA with Zilean ult to back her up. One poor engage with Zilean forgetting to use ult leads to WE getting baron. Poor dive at bot inhib tower gets 4 killed for WE and turns the game around for Ehome. Ehome goes for baron after several minor exchanges but it gets stolen by WE. This leads to WE pushing in and taking the game.

Game 2 - Ezreal misses opportunity to get first blood and Ehome turns the table with a lane gank from Fiddle for FB. Ehome takes early 3-0 lead but WE tries to come back with a few TF ganks. Garen gets really big and WE has no answer. Ehome gets baron 3 times but couldn't push quickly so wastes it twice. Lots of people getting caught makes the game go for >50 min. Lots of AoE damage destroy WE in the final fight at WE top inhib.

Game 3 - eHome takes early lead but WE steadily gains more and more advantages until eHome cannot fight back. WE got almost every dragon and won every baron fight, leading to a crushing defeat for eHome.

Semifinals #2
+ Show Spoiler +
Game 1 - Amumu has several great ganks on Zilean mid but jiji always seem to have ult up. HSGG tp bot to gank while Wickd stays top to farm but CLG doesn't accomplish too much. SK counters with Irelia going to dragon after HSGG goes back to top and then tp to defend tower. SK seems to have early advantage with 2 drags and several kills up. A lot of Ashe arrows end up hitting Irelia so they go wasted. SK was able to handle CLG 4v5 while SK split pushes. SK had significant farm advantage by 25 min. Poor ward coverage by CLG ends up getting 3 killed in a span of 2 seconds near bot blue and this gives SK baron and the game.

Game 2 - CLG mixes up the lanes with Ez vs Irelia top and Cho vs Trist bot. Janna goes roaming a bit so Taric had to do the same. Very passive early game but SK gets first blood on HSGG. Then CLG counter dragon and gets a kill on Irelia. Akali doesn't get to do too much as the game goes on and one fatal team fight for SK seals the game for CLG.

Game 3 - SK goes AP Janna but CLG counters with Sivir mid. Lots of AoE from CLG take a good initiate into a commanding lead. CLG also ran 2 TP for maximal split pushing. Otherwise very passive game.

3rd Place Match
+ Show Spoiler +
Game 1 - SK goes for blue invasion but it backfires after Ocelot gets greedy and flashed to ignite PDD. PDD lives and SK ends up losing 3 in the lvl 1 exchange. GP gets quick lvl 2 and sneaks around bot ward to come from behind SK and gets 2 kills for eHome. SK tries to come back from a 0-6 start but eHome is getting really fed by this point. eHome takes this game easily and finishes in 28:40.

Game 2 - eHome returns the favour from game 1 and invade SK's red. They successfully take wraiths and red and quite a few people get low but no kills. SK has better positioning throughout the game and takes early lead in kills. SK has a 10-2 kills lead by 21 minutes and it goes up to 16-2 by 30 minutes. SK somehow always survive the teamfights with very low heath and the advantage builds up to a baron and push down mid to take the game.

Game 3 - eHome starts with a Malz top and Galio mid. SK takes FB with Gragas ganking bot and body slamming Sona but eHome gets a kill back with Malz taking down Nasus top. SK goes to to take early lead with a 3-0 exchange by bot. SK's better coordination and eHome's poor positioning leads to SK gaining more and more of an advantage. eHome tries for a desperate baron and Kog steals baron, leading to eHome getting aced. eHome was not able to combo their skills properly and that led to their downfall.

Finals
+ Show Spoiler +
Game 1 - Fiddles sneaks in a 5 min dragon to give WE some early gold but Zilean gets FB with a little support from his team after WE attempt a 3 man gank. HSGG gets to free farm against GP top and CLG is rolling over WE through the mid game. One bad team fight almost turns the game around into WE's favour but they get too aggressive and dies 4-2, which gives CLG baron. CLG tries to siege all 3 lanes at once with baron buff but didn't accomplish too much. CLG plays very passively and finally finishes the game >50 min.

Game 2 - Elementz try to ward river near mid but gets 5 man ganked and give Vayne FB. Sona gets revenge in bot lane because Caitlyn was too aggressive while low. A few minutes later Singed TP bot to help get a kill on Sona and gives WE free dragon. WE completely dominates CLG with several kills even for Taric. Somehow the majority of kills for CLG goes to Sona rather than the others so it seems like the money is wasted. Game was most likely over by 15 min and CLG go for a surrender vote 5-0 soon after 20 min.

Game 3 - CLG switches around top and bot to put Ez top and Galio bot. Lee Sin lvl 2 gank with Janna support gets quick kill on Singed and pushes down out tower by 7-8 min. However HSGG has a hard time with Taric/Vayne double stun and requests switch back to top against Singed. Poor dragon fight gives dragon to CLG but gets 4 killed. HSGG goes afk push top as WE push bot. Then HSGG gets caught and allows WE to take free baron and dragon. This leads to an insurmountable advantage for WE and they take the game.

We've all seen how the NA/EU teams have been doing over the past year. Time to see what CN has in store. I'm not too familiar with all the teams. iG is my pick for the strongest CN team. :o

Edit: Riot so slow. CCM => iG, they're not CCM anymore. Some rich guy bought them out, etc.

Why is CCM/iG vs SK not on stream? That's arguably going to be the most interesting match of Group A. -_-

I wouldn't Riot is the only one at fault here. The IEM website itself hasn't updated to reflect CCM being bought out by iG. It's probably some legacy thing where they originally signed up as CCM and the admins didn't want to change it. The site should be up to date since they replaced AEON with Flash just a day ago.

Until they all arrive safely in China i will not make an official statement but i am now 90% certain that all 5 regular SK players will be in attendance.

CANDY PANDA (aka god of ad carry) will be there??

Not sure if one of those kids still fucks something up along the way eh? :D

But I am glad to hear that the Visa issue seems to be worked out.

Anyone knows if there will be a rebroadcast 7 hours later (or at another euro friendly time) like with the sc2 streams?

The time tags look so odd to anyone who actually lives in NA...

"October 2nd 22:00 EDT(-04:00)"
"October 3rd 19:00 pacific for those in NA"

That day and 3 hours difference of timezones from east to west coast is brutal!(I know there's no way around this, it's just the way the time tags work, merely pointing out how oddly funny it is, and how massively confusing it would be if you weren't aware of it).
How did the experience of working at Mr Burns' Nuclear Plant influence Homer's composition of the Iliad and Odyssey?

Oh sorry sc2 started today and I thought it was the same for lol.

Oh well can't wait for the china lol teams. They got crushed at dreamhack but they should be better at IEM.
