SV was MVP by far I belive. his ability to just outclass every other person in his role even in the finals is something you can't ignore.

glad truely that the home team won the finals. CLG gave a hell of a show at it. HSGG needs to find more auto win champs for him.

I think having to jungle vs. the top NA junglers again is gonna be a rude wake up call to SV. Just didn't see much jungle play from any of the other teams here that impressed me.

I thought PDD from Ehome was amazing and Mx of W.E deserved to get the MVP, but in a popularity contest no one will beat CLG.

I have to say that the Chinese supports did really well throughout the tournament. They were almost always actively setting up ganks, warding, protecting carries, clearing wards, keeping track of enemy jungler and tanking turrets for the carries during dives. All these things are standard support play, but the Chinese supports seemed to do more of it throughout the game than what I'm used to seeing from Elementz and Xpecial. Don't get me wrong, I think they are fantastic support players, but they aren't as active seeking such duties as the support players from WE and EHOME imo.

On another note, NA junglers, Chinese AD and Chinese AP are so damn scary.

NA still has this attitude that "anyone can play support" and don't realize that there's lots of little tricks and things that separate a good support player from "soraka than can mash W and E"

There's a reason why Nyph is the best player on SK.

That's really true, i find it funny that the only impressive junglers come from US but at the same time IMO US really lacks jawdropping good suppots. AP and AD carry players seem to be at quite a comparable levels on each server.

BTW I love how SV just went "fast oracles" jungle strat that everyone seemed to abandon ~half a year ago. I think that i still is awesome solo queue option, since you will have more farm as jungler than junglers who play tourneys so buying ora won't hurt that much

Whitez/MikakoTabe from iG and Misaya were the most impressive players of this tournament. It's just sad that iG got eliminated when they did.

What CLG needs is for jiji to get back to when he was #1 AP no questions asked and Chauster reallyyy has to work on his botlane. I think the fact that jiji and Chauster can't be the solo lanes anymore really has hurt CLG more than it's helped. Chauster's bot lane looks pretty meh every tournament.

Fast oracles is a shit option in solo q simply because most solo q-r's dont bother to ward near enough to make it worth it. Competitive play, on the other hand, definitely is worth it simply due to the map control it brings.

IMO the problem is less Chauster than Chauster+Ele. They need to duo together a LOT, CLG keeps telling them to but they never do. They' don't have to releationship most bots do.

Watching the re-run, between Games 2 and 3 it's easy to see the really horrible body language going on. Elementz especially looks really upset. Probably helped contribute to their play in the next game.

It's just sad that one of the best solo laners in the world just can't seem to do anything in a duo lane. It might very well be that their duo doesn't have practice and if that's the case they really do need to go practice it or else they need to be breaking meta every game so that Chauster can solo more.

I really think they should run something like corki mid and AP+Support bot. Bot lanes like brand taric or Maokai ryze are really really strong and corki/urgot can easily beat mages in lane.

It was impressive final. The China teams did realy good and deserve the 1st place.
CLG has this problems with the team play from quite alot of time, they don't realy practice as a team but rather solo Q all the way, if they snowball early game they win hard, but if they don't get good farm/kills they lack the team play to win the game.
In the 1st game even tho they were soo far ahead they had hard time to end it,

I caught most of the reruns and I love organizers that have reruns. <3 Thank you sooo much IEM!

Also, to end on a negative note (which is important to keep egos down): Please stop pronouncing it Cock'Maw. While hilarious at first, it quickly became annoying. :D

I have the feeling after watching IEM that the Chinese teams don't know how to play Fiddle properly.
