I feel like chauster really let CLG down. Even though most of the community will probably end up blaming hotshot because it's quite easy to scapegoat him. I feel that chauster not being able to play kogmaw, urgot, cait and vayne at a top level cost them. Even if you run a lot of unusual champions, you still need to know the normal champions. After WE ganked jiji over and over in game 2, CLG just had 0 damage.
Well, hotshot and jiji upped their game after they lost at dreamhack, saint definitly upped his game here. Hopefully chauster will improve his game now.

Gratz to WE, they played amazingly.

chauster not being able to play cait makes me lol. I've seen that guy completely ruin teams with cait. I think the ranged carry choices of CLG were very deliberate and not picks of necessity due to Chau's ineptitude.

EDIT: He probably doesn't have a vayne, but that's a style thing, Chau's always abusing range in lane and thus the high damage, low range carries (vayne and corki most notably) have never really been his forte.

terran getting rolled
puma getting third eventhough he clearly was the best player out there (not taking anything away from idra because he played awesome but he metagamed him pretty hard)

He can play a great cait and urgot but I've never seen him play kogmaw or vayne. What I meant was that he doesn't know how to play all of them. As much as I would like to think that it was deliberate picking ez, I just don't see how ezreal would have benefited them.
Actually now that I think about it, The Ez pick was probably to stop WE from picking him. The chinese teams do like ezreal a lot. Bah, my brain is slow after sleeping only 3 hours for the past 3 days watching iem.

Chau's also a godly Ezreal. I dunno, I like Ezreal, but if your team is too far behind to engage is real poke battles, you get destroyed.

Thinking back, I wonder how much of it was overconfidence on CLG's part. I mean, in game 2 they were dying left and right to jungle ganks a ~1200 player could have pulled off. WE devoted a lot of manpower and time to ganking hotshot game 3 and it seemed to throw him off his game. They had great map control overall, whenever the observer was over the chinese support guy he would be whacking a ward. Killing wards OP.

Can't wait to see what Rock Solid will do at IEM New York. One of the commentators mentioned China was getting an invite, hopefully they meet up!

Question from someone who didn't watch the finals: Is HS any good at Kennen? I remember Saint on numerous occasions calling Hotshot's style of playing him as being a "pussy". Fair comment or not?

I kinda like that WE won
Why? It's good for Chinese LOL community. Chinese berated LOL as boring and nothing compare to DOTA. Maybe because NA and EU styles are so passive and safe. Chinese plays shows us how to play aggressive and bring us a high pack action match from lvl 1 fights to late game. I hope this will enlighten our fellow NA and EU teams though Dignitas aka RS already doing it and place 1st in IEM NY qualifier.

I have to say that the Chinese supports did really well throughout the tournament. They were almost always actively setting up ganks, warding, protecting carries, clearing wards, keeping track of enemy jungler and tanking turrets for the carries during dives. All these things are standard support play, but the Chinese supports seemed to do more of it throughout the game than what I'm used to seeing from Elementz and Xpecial. Don't get me wrong, I think they are fantastic support players, but they aren't as active seeking such duties as the support players from WE and EHOME imo.

On another note, NA junglers, Chinese AD and Chinese AP are so damn scary.
