So i posted this message :
Hi! My name's Cole. I casted a few games under the alias (not posting name). If you want you can check out my youtube page at (not putting my page here)
Tell me what you think, if I'm terrible, anything I can improve upon.
Thanks and enjoy,
Cheers,
Cole
My thread was moved to blogs because I was told that I was advertising my cast and that it was personal. Not only am I not doing this, Im asking for help on improving my casting. How am I supposed to improve my casting if I can't show anybody my videos on the general thread? I feel that the blogs don't get any traffic.
EDIT: I'm in no way angry, merely confused. Please don't mistake my tone for whining about not getting enough views on my channel. I just want constructive criticism and feedback, and I feel that the blogs section doesn't offer any of that.

If ti was moved to blogs it was for a good reason.
Anyways I'll watch your cast when i can and try to give you some feedback(if this is still open). Good luck

The blogs not getting enough traffic is not a reason to clutter the general forums.
If it was moved there it was for a good reason.
Good luck in your casting career.

I was told that it was moved to blogs because:
(Because it was, at best, a personal topic. Personal topics belong in your blog.
At worst it was an advertisement for a youtube channel, which belongs in the closed section.
I looked at the bright side. If you wish to make a new blog topic in the future, please click the blog link beside your username in the banner.)
Does anybody agree with me that blogs aren't useful for feedback? I could be totally wrong.

Posting again is the worst thing you can do, alternatively you could try other websites like Wellplayed and Reddit for some casting tips. Also, PM a mod/admin/banhammer if you ever have any problems. Good luck with your casting.

You're not posting a link now... Okay... But you're actually asking us to go look for your YouTube page and watch your videos. This actually seems worse than your previous thread. It's the same, just less convenient.

Is this clutter? I apologize if it is.

I'll edit the post.

Also because you can't spam the general section just cause you think that blogs doesn't get enough traffic.

I still don't understand how it's spam. I'm not advertising my site. I just want feedback. Isn't the forums the place we come for that?

This is a slightly immature way to go about trying to fix this. There are other ways to go about discussing TL policies.
Still at least i can say that you seem to be motivated about getting your casting some attention so gl with that.

Maybe people misunderstand my tone. I'm not angry, simply confused. Where should I go to get feedback on my channel? Other than the blogs section, seeing as how no one will read my blog.

I think the problem at this point is more that your thread was moved to blogs and you decided that blogs weren't good enough for you and so you created another thread to complain about it. You theoretically can get the feedback you want, in the blog section, which you are obviously unsatisfied with, but it's what you get.

I can understand that point of view. Is the general consensus that I should post in blogs if I want feedback for my cast?
