If you still haven't signed up for the Open Tournament, do so today! However, this post is about the Season 2 Qualifying Tournament!
What's different? This tournament is open to ALL players, even players from NASL Season 1! The Top 4 qualify for Season 2 of the North American Star League (and places 5-8 are on standby) There is a $5 entry fee instead of a $10 entry fee Players who signed up for the Open can also play in this tournament
1,024 players will have the chance to compete for a spot in Season 2 of the North American Star League.The tournament is open to anyone, regardless of age, location, sex, or skill level. The only requirement is that you have a battle.net account on the North American server, and can play all your matches.
The tournament will take place the week of June 28th - July 3rd, with approximately one round per day!
Our partner, BinaryBeast is hosting the official bracket -- registration is simple and easy, and is $5 per player (we accept paypal only)! Below is some basic information about the event.
Sign Up You can sign up for the tournament by clicking on this link. Click the green button that says "Join this tournament."
After accepting the rules/tournament info, and submitting your $5 payment, you will officially be signed up.
What's at stake The Top 4 finishers will qualify for Season 2 of the North American Star League, the next 4 will be placed on a standby list.
Format Single elimination, each match is BO3, 1,024 players maximum.

lol this is like Catz' worst nightmare
edit: Hope to see alot of Koreans!~ I predict that there will be alot less NA players than in S1 lol, the talent pool in NA is just not that great.

Do you have any idea why the koreans succh as mma and ryung signed up for season 2 qualifier, but did not sign up for the open tournament for the offline final spot?

Ah ok thanks. And all this time I thought the only reward for the open tourney was the winner getting a spot in the grand finals for season 1.

I'm kind of disappointed at the sign-ups for the open tournament. I would've expected a bit more considering the amount of people that sent in videos season 1 :/

I guess STVirus is notable. Hoping for more signups in both tournaments. Where are Nerchio, Stephano, Sase, Happy, Kas, Moonan and more Koreans or even Chinese?
