We are friendly folk and does not seek war any time soon. We are also looking for trades and always strive to get higher Q on all our things. We've established a small farm and also some tree planting. Fish and clay are also near. so unlimited food source right outside our door.

We have an IRC channel on quakenet - #Liquidia. Join us there for any questions or just to idle.
In this thread - discuss anything and everything related to the Liquidia community. But first, a small introduction.
What is Haven & Hearth?
Haven & Hearth is a free 2d sandbox MMO with full PVP and permadeath. Check out the other thread here on the forum to enlighten yourself. Alternatively, check out their homepage.
What is Liquidia?
Liquidia is the project name of the first Team Liquid community village in Haven & Hearth. It's placed on a protective ridge with easy access to nearby fields, meadows, mudflats, swamps and a river. About 30 active hearthfires populate the community currently, making it a very lively place. New houses and claims are popping up on a daily basis, and the village's lack of organized cityplanning makes it a charming, if chaotic, settlement.

Yes, the village map looks like a scifi laser rifle.
What is the village's future plan?
None has been discussed yet, which is part of what has prompted this thread. In theory, we could develop towards a peaceful community or an agressive raiding outpost or anything in between depending on peoples' wishes. Know though that any and all hostile actions performed by members of the village will be trackable to the village, and we may all pay for the acts of a few! Because of this, it's advisable that you be very moderate in any thieving or killing of player characters as long as you live in the village, at the very least untill we've decided our future.
Who governs Liquidia? Who's our diplomat? Who's our marshal?
So far, there's no real leadership or any powerstructure. My hearthfire has been used to gather people here, and my Lawspeaking marks the village center, but as I personally have no desires on micromanaging people, I would rather have another competent member take leadership, or just skip it altogether - as long as the community feeling is strong and people are happy to help each others, a solid leadership will not be needed at this stage of the game.
A diplomat should be appointed though, preferably someone who's eloquent and familiar with the game and its politics. This guy should deal with all communication with communities outside the village, and also deal with all accusations of thieving or muder from the outside towards our members.
I reckon we could need a marshal, to keep track of our combative members and be responsible for internal crime handling or external threats such as thieves or raiders. A marshal's main role should be to administer the combative part of the game, such as offensive and defensive actions, as well as keeping the village safe.
Please discuss what you feel would work best for village administration.
Do you have any rules?
We do have basic guidelines.
- Don't steal stuff from other Liquidians - leave peoples' baskets and chests alone even outside claims
- If you find tools outside (wagons, plows etc), ask before taking it. If nobody is around, be sure to return it to its place after use
- Don't agitate our neighbours
- Only pave and plow what land you need - don't make huge stoneflats
Aside from that, 'No claim - fair game'.
How can I join Liquidia?
With our between 30 and 50 members currently, the community is growing faster than it has food to support - because of this, invites are currently limited untill food issues are resolved. If you are nice, friendly and dedicated, feel free to send a private message to myself though, as anyone who seems like a great addition is always welcome.
Thank you, and see you in world4!

+ Show Spoiler [Specialization description] +
Mason - Clay-based profession, making pottery and building stone objects plus bricks and brick objects such as roads and walls.
Skill suggestion: Pottery, Masonry, Stoneworking.
Ranger - Combat-based profession, doubling as hunters for leather / killing menacing creatures, as well as warriors to protect us and be agressive during hostilities.
Skill suggestion: Combat-based skills depending on your preference (Unarmed, Marksman, Sword, Axe) and PVP Skills (Rage etc).
Peasant - Farming-focused profession, needing high perception to gather berries and weeds for seeds, as well as cooking skills to utilize the profession.
Skill suggestion: Farming skills (Farming etc), herbalism skills (Herbalism, Plant Lore), applicable cooking skills (Cooking, Baking etc), Beer making, Wine making.
Carpenter - Wood-based profession, who can provide us with all wood-crafted objects.
Skill suggestion: Lumberjacking, Carpenter, Wheelmaking, Boat building
Blacksmith - Metal-based profession, to make metal tools, armor and weapon as needed. Also needs to be able to support itself with metal through mining.
Skill suggestion: Metal working, Locks & Bolts, Mining
Beastmaster - hunting and animalkeeping as specialization, this character needs combat skills to survive the taming process (i think?) as well as the right animal care skills.
Skill suggestion: Hunting, applicable combat skills, Animal Husbandry, Cooking, Sausage making
Clothier - a combination of tailoring and leatherworking. Since leathergathering is pretty heavily combat-based, and clothmaking requires linen and silk, this focus somewhat depends on other people.
Skill suggestion: Cloth Making, Bee keeping, Sericulture, Leather Working
