[Edit]VOD stuff
Ah, it's started at last. You may remember an old news post about it. Yah, it's taken them quite a while since they ran the prelims to actually start the tourney -_-.
Anyway, to repeat what's in the above news post, Ghemtv is a satellite game channel (though oddly you can get it without satellite some places), and they run their own league. It's the smallest of the 3, in terms of prize money. Around $4000 for 1st place, about how much 3rd place at OGN gets. Still, it's fame and fortune, and a lot of your favorite pros can be seen playing there.
The best part is THEY HAVE FUCKING EASY TO USE VODS NO STRINGS ATTATCHED. Point yourself here. Scroll down and you'll see some tables with VOD buttons at the columns furthest to the right. The ones at the very top are the ones for this league. And wow, they have yesterday's games up free of charge already -_-. The 2nd table is vods from the 2nd league, 3rd box is vods from the 1st. The 4th one is some special event games. The vods for a day are divided into 2 parts. They include both women's and men's games :O.
Ok, back to stuff about the league -_-.
Players
Group A: HOT-Forever(z), V-Gundam(t), forU(p), [Soul]Junior(z)
Group B: Junwi(z), Autumn(p), Nada(t), Oddy(t)
Group C: Zeus(p), SonicBlack(z), Kingdom(p), Xellos(t)
Group D: Chrh(t), Silent_control(t), IntoTheRainbow(p), Chojja(z)
Maps
Ghemtv LT, Forest of Abyss, Emperor of Emperor, Isles of Siren
Anyway, week 1 results are in. A for the first time in a while, I have news taken directly from PGR21.com! Because I don't get Ghemtv -_-. Any of you Koreans here who get it are free to help out with match summaries ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif)
Junwi(z) defeated Autumn(p) on Forest of Abyss Public enemy no.1 claims another life :O
Zeus(p) defeates SonicBlack(z) on Isles of Siren
Silent_Control(t) defeats Chrh(t) on Desert Lost Temple Too bad for all your Chrh fans who hadn't heard of him for a while -_-
HOT-Forever(z) defeats V-Gundam(t) on Emperor of Emperor When's the last time V-Gundam won a televised T v Z? I'm most interested in this, V-Gundam has got to have practiced T v Z a lot during the time up to now :O
Oh, there's a women's league too. If ppl show some interest maybe I'll post about it too :O

Great info on the GhemTV site, thanks very much. Streambox at the ready! I guess there are two games per VOD in the top box?
One general question - anyone know how to translate these Korean webpages - it'd help a lot, like when working out which VOD actually to go for.

Hmm. WGTour had some news on it a while back saying that some of the Womean were actually in the groups. Like 1 female per group, and that Fish actually beat one of the male pros. Was this wrong or just exhibition? ^_^'

I also think it'd be a great idea to post on the female league. The skill level of some the players are quite high.
To my knowledge it was TossGirl ("Seo Ji-soo" - remember this name) who beat up on Junior. She's no joke. Faster hand speed than some well-known pros (saw her first person view once - seemed faster than players like ElkY, IntoTheRain, Nal_rA and HOT!). A great sense of the game. Just needs a bit more experience. Seo started SC a short while ago. Got introed to it by her father, who is also a fan. Dad apparently just wanted something he could do together with his two daughters. Didn't expect much out of it, but Seo (the older one) quickly showed some serious talent (as well as desire) for the game and quickly started beating up on her "old man" on a regular basis. Dad is still shell-shocked at how good she is.

[dak]hanmari = jinsu (jinnam's brother)

Well, you can't go far wrong with a name like TossGirl Any chance of teaching us the basics of Korean, mensrea? Real, real basics - like how TossGirl is written in Korean etc? Gosu/chobo hehe...I can get Korean characters to appear on screen (very different to Chinese or Japanese), but copying them into Babelfish doesn't work, nor does telling Babel to translate the site directly. Grrr...
Even just know the main player's names in Korean would be a help I reckon.
