A Comprehensive look at IdrA
First, to all ye nay-sayers: Before reading the biblical tale of the demi-god IdrA, leave your envious lies at the door like you did your social lives and self-respect.
As Athena burst from Zeus’s cranium, in similar fashion, IdrA sprouted forth from the Olympian Father’s nerdiest nipple. With said divine inheritance, IdrA has ruled uncontested as SC2 demi-god for all eternity/the past few months.
Many plebeians try to bring down perfection itself by harping on my lord’s repetitive game play or declarations of imbalance, but let me assure you, IdrA is only following the necessary path to becoming a true Hero. I talk not of Starcraft heroes like Jaedong or Flash. I talk of Heroes of Justice, Liberty, and Destroyers of Evil.
We need only look at the historical records. Where will we find the most appropriate comparison to IdrA? Boxer… no. Nada… no. Kwanro… HELL NO! I say let us compare IdrA to the types of heroes who have almost reached IdrA-like proportions: Winston Churchill, Davy Crockett, and Mohandas Gandhi.
While comparing these men to IdrA is an insult to the great Zerg emperor, I feel like these three men are the closest mortal specimens.
When Winston Churchill declared that England would fight Nazi Germany even if the battles raged on the streets of London itself, I almost got as many chills as when IdrA refused to switch races as Blizzard armed Terran with V2 rockets and Panzer tanks. (Yes I just compared Terran to Nazi Germany…).
Every time IdrA refuses to “gg,” I envision Davy Crockett, out of ammunition and completely surrounded at the Alamo, telling 6,000 Mexican soldiers to “go to hell” before the bullets ripped his body apart.
And when people complain that IdrA boringly sits back, never attacks, and passively waits until he can overpower his opponent with sheer strength of will – NO ONE realizes it is because IdrA is a pacifist. He is using “non-cooperation” without attacking in the hopes that his opponent will see that they are in fact in the wrong and just “gg” before the final confrontation (or just cheese him, but who would cheese Gandhi?).
Now, people will spout horrendous lies like IdrA is bad mannered, or IdrA complains, or IdrA is sickly looking and needs to tan. IdrA is bad mannered? WINSTON CHURCHILL is bad mannered. A lady at a party once asked him if he was drunk, to which Prime Minister Churchill replied, “I may be drunk madam, but in the morning I will be sober, and you will still be ugly!” So heroes can be bad mannered… check.
But, IdrA complains about Terran being OP… Again, Churchill wouldn’t shut up about how OP the Nazi were, so America agreed to focus on the war with Germany BEFORE fully going to war with Japan (even though we joined in because of Pearl Harbor). Churchill wouldn’t shut up about DT u-boats or Panzer siege tanks being OP! Also, you think Davy liked being out numbered 30 to 1 at the Alamo? I bet he was pissed at how OP the Mexicans were. So heroes can be complainers… check.
IdrA looks sickly? Take a look at the rib cage of Gandhi. You could see all his vital organs in action, the poor man was so sickly. Besides, IdrA is a wrist massage and a trip to the beach away from being a tan, sexy beast! So heroes can be sickly (I mean look at bubble boy)… check!
All the opposition’s criticisms have now been disproven, nullified, or avoided. Therefore, IdrA is awesome. Enjoy watching him play as I do.
Am I a troll? No. IdrA is awesome. I mean every word.
(Except comparing Terran to Nazi Germany).
