Edit: the 3 replays + the discovery that this guy maphacked BigT on air leave no doubt and he's been reported.
In this game, said protoss player walks to my natural without scouting and drops a pylon and 2 gates. Then this:
![[image loading]](http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/8991/screenshot2010081114403.jpg) Why is he placing a pylon here?
![[image loading]](http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/8991/screenshot2010081114403.jpg) Lucky positioning? He keeps building and canceling pylon so I can't complete my wall, rendering me defenseless from his zealots
Replay:

Is there any legit explanation for this? I wasn't streaming or anything. Where do I report this to Blizzard, if so? I'd like to be sure it's MH before I report someone.
Edit: I've added two replays from people he recently played:

oh lawdy, he COULD have taken a huge guess, but it sure seems rather suspicious. But why did he do that anyway?
|
It was probably going to be a proxy 2gate, and he just happened to make the proxy where you were.

How do you explain randomly placing a pylon on the open spot in my wall before he scouted my wall?

He kept building and canceling pylon so I couldn't complete my walloff.

Looks suspicious to me...especially because he just places it and leaves. Id post on Bnet forums with the replay and have the blues respond.
|
Unsure.
I'll look at the replay when I get home, but the second shot looks like it was to block an add-on.
The game wasn't very long. What happened with the rest of it?
And, did you scout him first?

That is probably often the open space. If I watched 20 replays of your tvp I'll bet 18 of them would have that space free at that time index. I wouldn't call it conclusive evidence.

He didn't even know I was there, that I was walling in, or anything. I usually don't wall in at all.

Obvious map hack, he's constantly looking in your base while building in your nat
|
I looked over the replay, and sure enough if you follow is player cam around 1 minute mark, he just stares at your base without being able to see anything.
but again it's not really 100% proof, and it's not like you can do anything about it.
|
Of course he's a maphacker, his FPView totally gives it away.
That being said, even if you aren't 100% sure someone is a maphacker, but feel a lot of suspicious stuff is going down, reporting them does a lot more good than harm.

there is a report player thing on b.net just so you know
|
unorthodox scouting the further walking distance base first too. i hope this hacker dies.

The placement seems like it would be a valid way to mess with a Terran wall and pretty legit... if it was just on a two player map. However, the single scout path and the pylon placement before the location was revealed is a little odd. The combination of the fast proxy to an unknown area and the pylon placement does make you wonder a lot.
|
26-11 and hes a map hacker. thats fucking pathetic
|
This is totaly obvious lol. He starts gateways in front of your base without scouting u in a 2v2 map. Not talking that he didnt check the close position first as any good player would do... And that pylon placement was ofmg... for those who think its not evidence check replay
|
The fact that he queued the pylon there with no scouting is suspicious, but it's not a guarantee that he was maphacking. It's really hard to say without more evidence.
|
It's circumstantial evidence so I can't say I agree with you.
