EDIT: also, I didn't say it was smart, but he could just be really bad. I don't know what league it's in or anything. EDIT2: Oh, wait a second, you can't queue into the fog of war. I see now. Yeah, definitely a map hack, my bad.

MH was available in beta, and if you think about it, every tab that's available to you in a replay--production, units, army, etc--will eventually be available to someone cheating in real time. The Razer line of products works off the SC2 APM info, so it's safe to say that someone will eventually crack the others, since it's all client side.

I didn't say it didn't make sense, I'm just disappointed. It should have been designed in way such that the client wasn't sent information about enemy locations in the fog (i.e. HoN) or they should have worked some security magic.

What's the difference between this and Blizzard banning CD-Keys in the past? It never served as any real deterrent for hackers either way. This is, of course, all assuming that Blizzard will actually take any real action against map hackers. If history is any indicator, it'll just be a huge crap shoot with an unlucky few getting banned once in a while while the rest just keep hacking away.

Also they shouldn't ban your entire bnet account for MH in SC2 since they don't do it in diablo2.

Well a lot of people are actually linking all of their games(SC1/2, WC3, WoW and eventually D3) into one bnet account like me. So 1 ban means losing all your games. Although you don't see that many bans in BW and WC3, blizzard has been taking more initiative to ban people since WoW.

In a matter of months, we will be playing on a private server and we won't ever open official bnet again. I seriously don't buy the "blizzard will ban em all" bandwagon.
