▲ I’m already heavily anticipating the finals match with SK Telecom. Last time we threw some challenging words at SK Telecom but I hope they will understand. It’s the finals match, and this finals is THE grand finals. If we entered the match with things being too quiet it would’ve been boring so we did it to spice things up. Personally, I think of SK Telecom very highly. I hope they will see it as entertaining, not offensive.

▲ To be honest, I was really nervous today. Knowing that if I lost, I’d be out, I kept thinking about the day I lost my first match. Every time I thought about it my face would flush. I’ve never started the Ro16 with a loss, so I knew this was a critical moment. Since it was a zvz I practiced even harder. Because the results were good, I was able to let go of some of my anxiety.
- You must be disappointed about your last game with
Sea. ▲ I’m a bit disappointed with that last game. It was a close game, and there was a moment I could have won.
Sea never lost focus and defended well through the game. That’s why I lost. I’m trying not to linger on it. - Don’t you think your persistence with mutalisks was the reason for your loss?
▲ It was what I came prepared with. I felt like an ambiguous change in play would result in a loss. Though I attacked persistently, the results were disappointing. If I had prepared more things could’ve gone better, but it wasn’t enough.

▲ In terms of builds, I thought I definitely could not lose. Spawning location, build – everything was in my favor. However, with things going so well I got even more nervous. I kept telling myself to stay calm. Today, luck was on my side.

▲ As I prepare more for games I start feeling fueled and perform better as a result. My results improve as well (laughs)… I do want to win WCG. Because this is a rare opportunity where I don’t have proleague to practice for, I want to do even better. There’s still some time left until WCG. I also definitely want to go to America.
- Today all of TaekBangLeeSsang had a game – did you think about the other players’ games?
▲ The only thought in my head was that if I lost, I’d be out (laughs).
- Last words you want to say?
▲ Recently, we had a soccer match with Samsung Khan. As far as we knew, it was a bet (laughs). All our teammates thought this too so we all ran until we burned out. However, once the match ended, we found out it wasn’t a bet. We were so disappointed. But still, we gained a lot of confidence in our soccer abilities. Whenever we played other people on the field, we always lost, but I think in the progaming world we’re pretty good.
