CraftCups are up and running again under craftcup.com. I'll try to sum it up shortly:
We play every week on Friday 19:00CET, 17:00UTC. Usually with a prizepool of $50 for the winner.
Everybody is welcome and slots are nearly unlimited.
System:
Random BO1 brackets until quarter finals. Then BO3 fixed grid. BO5 finals.
SERVER: EUROPE
Administration:
Everything from Signing up to reporting to personal support when problems occur happens on our site directly. There is not really much that you have to think about, so you can keep your mind on the game. All you are not allowed to miss is the 30 minute check in. Means you have to visit the site 30 minutes and less before the start and Check In. We also provide an IRC channel.
Who are we?
We are a non-profit group of students who simply love this game and tried to test our coding and designing skills a little with tis website. We hope you enjoy what we created =)

I'd like to see the biggest sc2 tournament ever happened, don't you? let's make it a 1024 or even a 2048 players tournament  So let everyone know about this event.

I think there is a problem:
"You period in the wrong position of Geo.rion
Please enter you in-game nickname for Starcraft II (EU) below.
Format: Peter.123
You can change it in your profile page, too."
Geo.rion was my beta username, now it's Geo as we do not need identifiers, i m trying to submit it, but i get this time and time again.
Also, possibly due to this, i dont see a Sing Up option

Do you have casters for some tournament games?

geo u know that u get an id as soon as u creat an acc?
just go to "add contact" in ur friendlist and then u are able to see the id on the right side of the window which pops up

There is no criteria that you have to fullfill, except the server maybe =)
jJust go to CraftCup.com, Register and you will get a huge sign up button. PM me if you have any problems.

Sounds interesting, I'm signed up. Just need to practice a bit so I'm sure to win it 
On a side note, why are we not allowed to have capital letters in the user name? I tried signing up as Zilla, but it said I had entered illegal characters

Found two bugs on the website:
1. I had to fill in my nickname without capital letters. When I filled in eLLiarZ i received the following error:
"ERROR: This username is invalid because it uses illegal characters. Please enter a valid username."
2. On the "attending players" page the wrong country flags are shown.

with the name i am not sure yet if thats a feature makes life easier. But i will have a look
