AKA The black minimap of doom

Does anyone have that same problem??

I dont know if you can see in my replay, but I dont see my minimap :/

that was my 3rd match, and I didnt have that problem the first 2 matches. Strange.

sc2rc is having problems because it cant recognize 3v3 and 4v4,... and that replay was a 1v1 btw. strange...

Happened to me my 3rd and 4th match. I lost both games, but the others where I didnt have a blacked out mini map I won.

Bnet2 is having lots of technical problem (not talking about the lag). Fortunately I didnt quit and won that game :3

Same here, I thought maybe it was a new "feature"...

So far the problem is only during replays, so maybe it's to help players protect their strategies a little better?

I had this problem too. I won my game but still had a black minimap on my replay.

I've had this problem in my last game too. Afterwards i restarted the game and in the replay the minimap showed just the way it is supposed to be.
I hope they fix this because it is really kinda difficult to play without a map. (For example in the replay i could see that i walked right by his proxy but of course didnt notice since i had no map to see it on and i wasnt watching my scout during those seconds)

Just finished a 4v4 and I couldn't view the minimap on the replay, but my friend could. Both of us are on Windowed (Fullscreen) on Windows 7 64-bit

So... It seems random. Some players can, some not. Sometimes it does it for the same player, and then works again. And then it might be in ladder, replays, or anything else.

I was sad about infested terran being on overseer and costing 125 energy instead of 25... and now this :/

It is not the same bug as you said. If I saw that thread before posting, I would gladly post it there if the OP updated his post for everyone to see all bugs.

Same problem - once it happens once (either in game or during a replay) it stays. I have to restart to get rid of it.

Yea i had that is was fucking terrible, the minimap doesn't even function properly when clicked. Happened to me on the 5th placement match (and it helped me lose ). Its also happening on my replays, but not on custom maps (ums). Curse of the minimap :/

Not only do I get a Black screen of death, I've also been getting lag the last 3 games and being dropped. I think its safe to get back on the playstation for the rest of the night. Hope it gets better for everyone

Have you tried playing without minimap? and with a buggy minimap that doesnt even jump to where you click? You have to manually scroll over to your opponent base.

I had it in only one game. I've also had the game act like I dc'd but not show the 'waiting for' window, just stops everything and lets me keep moving around the map and clicking shit, but nothing happens. The internet conn is fine, and when I end task to get out of the hung SC I dont take a loss >.>

Only reason I'm in Diamond now lols.
