Hey there - I've been searching for a general bug-collecting-thread, but since I didn't found one, I wanna list up some bugs which have been happening to me recently. If someone's getting the same probs, I would appreciate a comment!
- I think the most annoying thing is that the option "Disable Windows Key", which is very cool, disables my Windows key even outside of SC2. + Show Spoiler +
I have got a Microsoft Digital Media 3000 Keyboard if that helps..., since I think there could be some probs with the driver or something..
- The second thing is that during a 1v1 match on Steppes of War my game screen turned black all of a sudden. This was quite strange since the HUD was still visible, and the game itself was pitch black. With the mouse icon I could locate where the buildings were, and they reacted on clicking (I heard the sound), but as you could guess I lost that match. Kinda... strange.
- The third thing I noticed (which isn't quite a problem, but I noticed it) that the sounds doesn't overlap. If I build stuff, stuff is completed, if I click on buildings, every time I do that I hear only one sound at once. The other sound has been cut of by the next one, which sounds rather strange at some moments.
- And the last one is a bit unspecified, because the came crashed at least 2 times in the first seconds after I saw my Nexus. Gladly this has not been counted as a loss for me.
So.. yeah, I wonder if someone's getting the same probs because a few of them are getting a lot on my nerves...

I think this will be a useful thread, I was thinkin of starting one myself.
I think we should all follow AdunToridas' format for bugs so that it's nice and clean.
Here's what I experienced:
- When I click on my ladder page, the wrong name is highlighted instead of mine. Usually the person that is 1 spot below me on the ladder is highlighted. (not sure if it's one spot lower or one spot higher, will have to double check that)
Edit: oh, turns out AdunToridas didn't use the list function.

Yeah, I get the same bug with the ladder.

Many of these bugs are already reported on the Blizzard forums themselves....in fact they probably all are.

This is a useful thread though if people just want to confirm their bugs with other people as Blizzard doesn't usually respond to bug posts (doesn't mean they're not working on them).
Personally a couple bugs that annoy me:
the large white splotch in the bottom corner of the 3D Archon portrait.
that horrible squeaky glitchy sound that seems to coincide with a MULE being dropped anywhere on the map at anytime, even in Fog of War. This sound glitch is confirmed though it is inconsistent and I am not sure if they know what causes it yet. The MULE is a theory.

My rank keeps glitching i keep having to re-do plaecments to get into platinum which is discouraging :/
Other than that, SC2 isnt much a game where tesers want to test for bugs, more to test for imbalences in the game / playing ^^

My mouse cursor doesn't show on the loading screen 95% of the time.

I once experienced a very bad bug.
I saw how enemy's probe was attacking the rocks while it was is fog of war, I didn't saw the probe itself, but I saw its attacking animation.

i think actually that its supposed to not show the cursor. so ye 5% bug xd
i do hope they change so u always see the cursor tho, so u can split ur workers well in the start
i crash about 10 times per day minimum so i laff at this thread

These bugs don't really affect my playing experience but should be addressed.
- I cannot view my 1v1 Ladder Division. I can see my rank by using my profile but when I go to the Ladder Section, it shows that I only have a 2v2 Random Ladder.
- There seems to be a limit of how many friends I can add to my Friend List. When I try to add more people, there is no error stating that I cannot add another player or even why I can't. When I check my list I discover that the person was not added correctly.
- When I log in for the first time for a play session, my portrait does not load properly. Neither does my point level. I usually fix this by logging out and then logging back in.
This following 'bug' has a very large effect on my playing experience
- During the first game that I play I will invariably experience a bout of sharp lag spikes. The game becomes unplayable both for myself and my opponents. The lag usually lasts anywhere from 4 minutes to 6 minutes. It ALWAYS occurs for the FIRST game. Starting a game and quitting right away doesn't allow me to avoid this either. I have to experience the whole thing. Isn't it crazy that I get lag playing against the computer? Also, if my first game of the session is a replay I will lag in the replay! WTF! To get around this and to spare my opponents the frustration, I start my first game against the computer and try to micro through the crazy lag. Every game after the first runs smoothly. At first I thought maybe this was an issue with my internet, but since it only happens during the first game and not any others, I am not as sure anymore. Any ideas?

Today I went on a crashing spree. Three times in a row during loading screen I crashed

- When your overseer is floating over water or a cliff (a place where it cannot drop a changeling), it will give you an "ERROR CANNOT DROP CHANGELING HERE" even if you use the shift command to drop the changeling over land (after issuing a move command). This is annoying, because you can shift queue up commands with units like the vikings without them giving the same error.

Tank doesn't finish production sometimes. It gets stuck at 100% and doesn't pop out of the factory.

As I started my sc2 today...
A patch was downloaded with the usual patching screen. It said patching v0.14.0
There were no patch notes displayed.
After "patching" I log in to play a game.
I random as usual.
During load screen: I get text such as "UI/MultiplayerLoading map" instead of the Blistering Sands and instead of Help text at the bottom by the loading bar it is "UI/helptext01" etc.
In game:
-my keyboard doesnt work at all except for ALT+F4.
-many scroll over text is just "UI/gametext/02" or whatever.
anyone else getting this?

loads of hotkeys dont work in replay mode (c,e,p, to name just a few)

O, haha. I thought it was some graphics thing because I also only see the attack radius of defense buildings some of the times. I can usually see the zerg ones, but almost never the turret or the cannon.

After playing a 2V2 with a friend, my SC2 doesn't recognize my rank anymore. When I go to the multiplayer screen, it always says "5 placement matches remaining".
There is an easy work around though. Promote the friend in your party to leader, have him promote you back and the problem is solved.
