I get this very often. Last night I went 9 wins in a row, but on my 10th game I had no minimap.

This happened to me a few times over the last few days, not really sure why but i hope it is fixed soon makes the game really hard to play

Now for me, it is happens everytime I watch a replay, which is kinda lame

. But not as bad as having it do that do in-game.

one of the producers had a great idea last nite...
its to make mini maps an addon.. forwhich u have to now pay to use. per game.

I used that program to remap my keyboard shortcuts, so I can save 8 map locations now. So when I do get the black minimap in game, I can just quickly make 8 saved map points and be able to go from there.

I watch all my replays from sc2Allin1 now, and the minimaps work fine that way, but they are all black if I run them from within the actual game.

They seriously need to get this crap fixed ASAP. I refuse to play any ladder 1v1 games until it does get fixed. I'm bad enough *with* a minimap, so I don't want to lose to people because of a minimap issue.

It seems to happen to me once in every three or four games or replays, not sure what the cause is but it has only been happening post Patch 13, wasn't there a topic on this already by the way?

Can somebody confirm this? Doesn't fix it for me in replays.

Today I had to forfeit 4 games because I didn't want to play w/o the minimap. I now only play ladder games after restarting the client. Which is annoying, but so far I was always able to see the minimap.

Happens to me all the time. I was doing some scrims with my friend and had the black minimap twice. Watching the replays I had black minimaps almost every time.

i had the problem with black minimaps in replays. i reinstalled, and the problem was fixed. repatching took like an hour, btw.

That happened to me in a 2v2 game with my friend, was so ridiculous. After the game I just killed the client and restarted.

I don't know if this trend is consistent with everyone else, but everytime i go into the replay menu (not necessarily viewing a replay) then go into a game, I get the black minimap. So i just try avoiding watching replays in game now and just drag replays onto the shortcut when I want to watch them.
