Happens randomly in some games. Today it's been really sick. So damn annoying when I'm winning vs a noob and I drop and get a loss.
I have a 15mbit connection so that shouldn't be the problem.
Problem description. Game freeze, I get the message "You have been dropped". Then it crashes to desktop with an error message saying "Starcraft 2 has stopped working".
Computer specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz 2048MB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250
DxDiag if anyone is interested: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4135629/DxDiag.txt
Umm and I couldn't find a tech support section so I just posted it here, I know there are many people with the same problems. Really shouldn't lock this because TL is the only high quality populated forums where we can discuss this.
Moderator hijack. Let's help Blizzard a bit and try to pinpoint the problem:
Poll: Have you been having this problem (no account sharing)? (Vote): Yes (Vote): No
Poll: If you have this problem, do you have a 64bit or 32bit system? (Vote): 32 Bit. (Vote): 64 Bit (Vote): Don't know
Please post your full specs if this happens to you a lot.

It happens to me every game two days now. I am desperate. Pls post it on blizzard technical forum

Same thing happened to me once, he attacked with his army, i destroyed it, and happened to get dropped a couple of seconds after his army dies

that's weird. I've been playing from dialup because they tore up the cable lines to my street and are redoing them. There is like a 0.5-1 second delay between when i issue a command and when the unit works, but there is no lag spikes and i never get dropped. played about 200 games since i got bumped back on dialup

Do you have ports 1119 and 1120 forwarded for TCP&UDP?

i got this error today, too. afterwards my account was back on zero, and I had to start from scratch with the placement matches. seems to be a serious bug.

I had this today for the first time.
After i logged back in I was in my account but it was somehow linked to other accounts. My profile-picture suddenly changed and I had games listed in my "recent games" list of complete strangers where I didn't participate. It's 4 games and they are all losses and MY account lost ELO for that!
It was back to normal after about an hour but my ELO isn't back to normal and the games are still listed in my profile.

Has anybody sent this to blizzard?

Judging from everyone's location, is this only happening outside of the US? O_o

I'm in Texas and it is happening to me.

i got it in 2v2 yesterday and today 1time, at very typical situations in the game, nothing out of the box.
We both drop, but we didn't get lost/win just nothing ...
|
Yep this has happend to me aswell! Id say one in 10 games I lose connection.. Also I get huge lag spikes that freezes the game for up to 30 secs, then returns to normal (without speeded up gameplay). My opponent usually calls out "lag" so its not on my side only!

It's happened to me a few times, but I don't get the freezing or crashing just an instant "You've been dropped" then it goes to the log in screen.
|
Weird thing is, some people have had all their stats reset as well. This hasn't happened to me yet.

I played around 200 games and no latency issue so far, and no drop issue. Try checking your computer for spywares.

(especially the login into different/random accounts- and random interferences of accounts issue)
