The servers themselves are unstable and causing the disconnects. They've been trying to fix it. I know my past 10 games only had one disconnect, so maybe the situation's improving (or maybe no one wants to play anymore, so less server stress). | ||

1. While playing custom games with a friend last night while communicating over Ventrilo we both got the "You have been dropped" message simultaneously every time it occured. This may be why these games aren't counting, suggesting a significant difference between these drops and "standard" drops. 2. If after victory you click "Return to game" and continue to play, it is still possible to receive one of these kinds of drops and even though you have already won, the game will not count. Placement matches will not count down and your win/loss will not be affected. I haven't read the whole thread, so I don't know if either of these points have been covered yet, but I think #1 could be useful for debugging and that #2 could prevent a lot of frustration caused by getting your wins nullified. Funnily enough I'm "undefeated" on the ladder after the last patch, but exactly zero of my games have played to completion. I think I managed to finish like 2 of the 8 custom games we played last night. I wonder how many of the games that I dropped from very early would have resulted in humiliating defeats. | ||
