Spoiler Alert!!!

+ Show Spoiler +

Korean Air OSL Ro36 Group F
Winner: (T)fantasy
“I was motivated a lot after last season”

Q: It’s your 5th consecutive Ro16 qualification
A: I was always comfortably seeded for Ro16, and for the first time, I dropped to Ro36. The period where I disqualified early from the OSL was hard for me. I was motivated by how well (T)Flash was performing, and the fact that I had already dropped out was awkward for me. With those thoughts in my mind, I tried harder and qualified for Ro16

Q: You got attacked by (T)FrOzen’s 3-Star Wraiths
A: I thought it was only 2 Starports, so I received an unpredicted damage from him and became confused. However, I don’t think there was a huge danger.

Q: Wasn’t it disadvantageous for you?
A: I think it was alright. I had 3 bases running, and I had a lot of ground army, so even when my units were getting killed, I thought that if I just block it and then counter, I would be at a better position.

Q: You blocked 2-fact really well in game 2
A: I wasn’t going to make the proxy Barracks originally. I thought he would do 14CC and go for a macro game. However, thanks to my proxy rax, I saw his 3 Tanks quickly and predicted a 2-Fact push.

Q: You got rid of Spider Mines really well
A: Today, I played as well as I do in practice. Therefore, I was able to block a push like that. It was a good day for me.

Q: Did you become motivated by Flash?
A: Flash did well too, and that I wasn’t in Ro8 to begin with had already stimulated me. It was awkward watching OSL from the team house. I thought that I should definitely advance higher next season.

Q: Your greed for the finals must have grown
A: Whenever I see a replay of it on TV once in a while, it’s regretful. If I can make it to the final stage again, I think I can win this time.

Q: The players are really strong this season
A: Since it’s the biggest sponsor in the history, the players are the strongest. I’m happy that I can participate in this. I want to do well.

Q: Who do you think will be in your way of victory?
A: I’m playing TvZ well recently, so I’m not afraid of anyone. If there’s anyone to get in my way, I think it will be Flash.

Q: You’ve underperformed at times in Proleague
A: Even when I lost, I never thought that I lost because I was bad. Therefore, I think I can do well in the OSL. I got 2 losses recently, but after today’s OSL matches, I think I can do well in both Survivor and as a Proleague starter.

Q: Anything else?
A: I always pay a lot of attention to my hair style. However, I didn’t like it today, so I was insecure. I’m glad that the results were good. Although they were busy, I thank my teammates for helping me practice. I also want to thank my fans.

Thanks for the translation. Don't burn out!

I'm glad Fantasy is able to turn his motivation to results. Also:
A: Today, I played as well as I do in practice.

That's powerful if he can keep it up. A ton of players lament the fact that they can't do as well televised as in practice, so if Fantasy can master it, he'll be a lot stronger.

I also agree that Flash is the only player that looks unbeatable. Even Jaedong looks vulnerable on his off days, but Flash...

It tends to happen a few times, Effort vs Luxury is another great example of how good players can be if they show their practice forms.

I also agree that Flash is the only player that looks unbeatable. Even Jaedong looks vulnerable on his off days, but Flash...

You do know that Flash got outplayed/outsmarted/beaten (w/e you want to call it) by Jaedong in the MSL finals?

Flash is human like everyone.

We'll never know what might have happened in the MSL finals.

He did look vulnerable after the power outage, but those are extraordinary circumstances, beyond the pressure of a finals.

his probably basing it off their games played in winner's league. JD hasn't exactly been doing his part as team ace, while flash has =]

So now SKT1 has a hairran to go along with their hairtoss. No wonder their Zergs are so lacking... a permzerg could really help them out in Proleague.

Sounds like Flash is fantasy's Delilah.

/and now I'm spent.. like SKT's budget on mousse.
//ashamed of myself now.

SKT's performance has a direct correlation with the quality of the player's hair styles.
