I would probably only watch the Chinese version if it was the only program on the only television channel being broadcasted. It seems like it will just be a large bunch of people marching in unison, with second rate tech compared to the Americans, with the only message being how strong they are... | ||

The sad thing is that if the Chinese nationalist had taken over there probably wouldn't be a unified China today. It'd have been exploited to hell and back by the western imperialist interests at the time. You simply can't have that much landmass and natural resources and not be its own sovereign nation. All the moaning about human rights kinda just has the wrong perspective. Chinese people suffered tremendously in the 50 years since the founding of PRC but today they can be proud of the fact that China has risen to be a superpower again. | ||
