I speak to Rob quite a bit and I would consider him a great friend in this space (and outside of it). The events colliding was a complete over sight by both of us and unfortunately at the stage both parties were at, venue arrangements could not be changed. Redbull's event was (is) planned to be heavy Sc2, it did not make sense to run against them, especially as both events would be in the same time zone. There is no crazy story to attach to this one guys, and we will support/help/etc. Redbull any way we can. In fact, I spoke to Rob this morning about ways to synergize. This event will be amazing, I hope you guys enjoy it.

I don’t think they will have any problems filling the venue. Oh they should be able to fill it without a problem. If it's not close to capacity then something really went wrong. We still get several live events, but man do I really dislike special events where there are only eight players competing. This is what Battle Grounds has been about though. This time they have a theater and a good prize pool. I'm on the fence about stuff like this because a lot of players lose out on opportunities that MLG can provide. I understand they don't want to overlap but for eight players. Yeah, I cannot get over that. Even if it's a special event with only eight players. Now I just need to figure out how to attend the event in NYC and stream MLGs event at the same time, without blowing out my data charges to $50 for that month. My charges last month were over several hundred dollars. Those bitches were overcharging for over a year. -__- Thank God I got that fixed and now I have unlimited for 120 a month lmao. I'm really going to miss MLG so I hope all parties can sort this out to plan a bit more effectively (which is really difficult I realize given the very small amount of weekends that could be suitable for such large events).

We're gonna stay with the same players at events for years with this system. Although I'm confident the tournament will be awesome, I'm just worried about the players who aren't Bomber and the like you know.
