From I've been able to follow so far, youngminii seems pretty scummy to me. While being out in the open so much points away from it; his initial smear campaign against Palmer seemed like a mission he was sent on. His denial of what he said and his quick change to attacking BC makes me think he is at the very least a big distraction and a safe day 1 lynch. I'm still trying to dissect my way through the mayors. I'm leaning towards wherebugsgo or BC, they have outlines of plans that I can follow and see some logic in. Most others seem to promise that they are good scum hunters, that they would be easily dealt with if they were scum, or try to sway the noob vote too much. Those seem too intangible to me so far, but I don't think I would be able to make up my mind till vote time. | ||

Granted I don't have any experience to draw from, however I think the mayor; as the leader of the town needs to be very active and be able to push a town agenda. So far although there have been a few doubts around Palmar, no-one can dispute that he has been very active so far and I believe fairly genuine. As such I am initially inclined to vote for Palmar, although I am definitely considering a few other candidates like BC, Sandroba & a few others. I believe one policy that will be quite important for the success of the Town will be Lynch All Liars, as has been pointed out multiple times already in the thread, townies have no reason to lie and doing so can potentially lead to confusion, especially considering the wealth of newer players. I will review the thread and see what each candidate is offering in terms of plans and policies, but for now I think I will tentatively; ##Vote: Palmar | ||

He is applying critical thinking in a way that does not kill new players based on new player mistakes. The reason I'm unvoting him is twofold: 1) Nobody else is voting for him and thus I feel if I want my vote to matter in the slightest, I should not waste it. 2) He has made some points against other candidates that I agree with, but has done very little to give himself credibility. I initially voted for him because I liked his attitude and policies, but that an early vote with very little information to base it off. I still fear my "what if [Veteran] ends up being mafia mayor" mindset. I don't know what I think about Nisani and youngminii still, in the way that they talk, the way youngminii flip-flops to get Palmar to lynch BC, etc- but, a point they did mention is a point I am inclined to agree with. That is, does a persuasive veteran who becomes mayor have too much power? On the off-chance they end up being mafia, is it not too risky to vote them in? That said, those who are in the top3 of the vote are all veterans. As per #1 of my reason to unvote prplhz, if I want my vote to count, I may just have to vote for whomever I perceive to be less risky to elect. With that, my I will hold my vote for the time being. | ||

I'm officially withdrawing my candidacy. As per syllogism's remarks I will also be starting to derp it up some more now. Apparently I look so good that I look coached and not at all like my shitty townie style. I am voting GreYMisT 'cause I'm not afraid of him if he is scum, but he could do good if he is town. He looks a lot like my campaign and I hope he picks up some . As for sandroba's comments that you elect 16 scum into office: you don't. If sinani206 is elected (lol) and he suddenly starts posting like BloodyC0bbler then we'll know that something is up. As for all the emotional appeal my campaign is supposed to have: I don't think it's all emotional, maybe it comes across as emotional but if you use your brain, you don't want a scum Palmar in office. You don't if you use your guts either. | ||
