It's likely the Blues, but Razer's PR stuff says they've been designing their own and I think the actuation distance is a bit off, plus their pictures look totally different. It probably is Blues though, with Razer PR crap blocking the way. I'm skeptical of the build quality based on the price. The switches might be fine, but that doesn't mean the caps and everything else will be. That said, I'm still interested in it. but they say Q. What type of mechanical key switch does the Razer BlackWidow use? A. The Razer BlackWidow uses tactile and clicky Cherry MX Blue mechanical key switches. Each of the mechanical switches has been sorted prior to manufacture to adhere to a strict design guideline. It's a boss keyboard for $80 indeed. Imma need to get me one of them. too bad it's on backorder

I can understand having a good mouse. I main Scout in tf2, thus I understand the importance of a precise mouse for aiming, but there is really no precision in keyboards, except with your own hands. Is it more comfortable? Why should we spend time convincing you? Look up mechanical keyboards.

And what do you guys think of the Topre switches? very few if any use mechanical kbs here. if a 5$ samsung/qsenn dt35 rubber dome is good enough for flash jaedong and bisu it's good enough for us. topres are just ordinary rubber domes. might appeal to some (this is TL-look at the banner) though since the sound the keys make are awfully similar to hooves walking/trotting on stone pavement but at the price it's offered-237$ for a rubber dome?

And don't talk shit when you don't know the difference between a mechanical keyboard and a cheap rubber dome keyboard. The difference is night and day. If you just want a mechanical keyboard, buy an old IBM Model-M's off ebay for 10-20 bucks. They're sturdy as fuck and perform as good as anything out there, and you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. Well, I guess you'll miss out on the backlight and macro/windows keys if those are important for you.
