I have found that i can tolerate sc2, and even enjoy watching some of the tournaments,but i will probobly continue to play bw campaign (as i have a fine motor control issue that makes me incapable of playing at a level i can tolerate for 1v1 ) , as well as playing sc2 with some irl freinds ( if i continue to fail in my attempts to bring them into bw)

I think I'll leave...I don't like this annoying "OMG ESPORTS" bandwagon and I simply don't find SC2 enjoyable to watch or play. Even if the current teams switch to SC2, the players won't be able to show their maximum potential and talent, because they would be limited by the game itself.

I'll leave TL too, simply because i have no interest in sc2, and i dont want to witness the BW forum died and be removed. So i'll leave and keep all the good memories intact.

Hopefully there will still be amateur tournaments in Korea we can watch. I'll keep playing on iccup as long as there are other players around, I might play a little SC2 and watch a little to see what happens (i'll be interested to see if the top BW pros get to the top of SC2) but I don't think as into it as I have been for BW

I'll probably play BW as long as I can get people to play with me and TL has other things besides the BW proscene that keep me around. I'm not going to follow the old BW teams or players anymore though because I'm not interested in SC2 or the whole 'eSports' thing. This all makes me very sad.

If I can get my wrist back in order I will stick around to play BW and use the BW liquipedia and such. The foreign BW streams are still great too. I don't think the influx of BW pros will make SC2 fun to watch but I will remain open to the idea. The only thing I am pumped for is that the old BW mapmakers switching over might make the metagame more stable and the games themselves more dynamic.

As far as I'm concerned BW dies when I die.

The problem is the OP is making the assumption there is no bw scene after the pro scene switches. well yes there IS, just not the big budget corporate one. Other players and tourneys are interesting too you know.

I'll obviously stick around. This community is way too valuable to give up for mere loss of Korean BW scene, and while not as good as pro-games the amateur leagues here will still be a decent watch I feel.

First, your post is based solely on speculation, but I see that KeSpa has proven time and time again that it can be a completely dumb company and may go on with killing BW.

I see no reason to stick around, as I see SC2 an inferior game in every aspect that matters in BW (spectating, competitive playing and balance). I just follow SC2 because of some BW players, but it seems that everyone that was important in BW scene seems to have forgotten the only reason SC2 is as popular as it is being the bad game that it is.

It would be nice if that were true, but foreigner's haven't had their own style for a long time. They just copy pro strats badly. Maybe with the fall of the proscene creativity will return and we'll see some new Mondragons instead of Stork wannabes.

There is no post-BW -- BW will live forever, or at least as long as PC-compatible and LAN-compatible hardware exists, people will play BW, in particular, Koreans will play BW.

There might be (not yet sure, by the way) no OGN pro-BW at some point, no OSL and no PL as we know it. However, there will be other leagues - perhaps not as prestigious, but people will keep playing BW competitively under some form.
