Without fans, then players are just that = players with no one to watch. They won't be progamers. They'll just be regular players. If you really support BW, that means that you supported through the hardships and the joys that these progamers brought. I don't enjoy SC2 THAT much but I'm willing to stay as long as the players that have brought me joy are willing to play. So please find it in your heart to at least even begrudingly help the teams and the players. It's not just a simple: i'll leave. It means that your individual support is taken away and that really does impact the scene. The people here are the foreign Team Liquid fans that are willing to watch the OGN and Korean eSports Scene. Coaches and players acknowledge that you are here. So please at least consider the huge impact that you will have when you say that you are done with the scene. Everyone is hurt from it.

I know that it won't be the end for current players, just cause they will get great fanbase from current sc2 fans. Only thing I hope from this, is that OGN does not crash and burn with this decision.

I won't feel the least bit of regret if I stop following former BW players once they play SC2. I didn't even follow Boxer because frankly his activities no longer interest me. They don't even need our support; with a new game comes new fans. Besides, it's a mutual parting: the pro scene departs from the realm of my interest, and that's where I depart from following it.

Obviously I hope we get a professional post-Kespa scene that will also create a much stronger post-SC2 scene in the foreign area. This is clearly in the realm of the most glorious dreams, but over the next few years it's certainly possible. I really think that SC2 brought a lot of people into ESPORTS and I also think that SC2 can't really last that long. This means that there are a lot of potential fans in the future. If the folks who quit when Kespa does and the folks who have quit before can work with the established structure of clans and tournaments and general BW badassery, we could maybe see a new and better scene in the future. That said, it's basically dreaming. I intend to check back from time to time, to the BW forum instead of the front page of course, to see if anything is going down. Other than wishful thinking, I'm out. I loved ESPORTS, and now that it's dead, I will roll along with real life without worrying about it. I'm sure I'll still watch old games from time to time, but it won't be a hobby or a passion anymore. I feel bad about everything that has happened, but I have years of happy memories. EDIT: Actually, I don't think that this thread is really appropriate. Let's go out with a bang (OSL) instead of mulling over the loss of it. TT... Mad TT.

![]() and i don't get how League of Legends became and E-sport its a more casual copy of DotA :/ (No last hits,no pulls,no denies,OP towers, stupid childish hero names and graphics and no gold loss on death) is this really an esport material by 2012 standards?!?!? to me it seems like dota for lazy people and kids

And continue to follow SC2. I try to follow both games as best as I can. Maybe when I stop being lazy and get promoted into diamond league in SC2, I will try my had at iCCup and attempt to get to D+ as good old Terran. And I really hope there are more restreams of Afreeca stuff. That stuff is pretty entertaining, especially if a lot of BW pros retire post-switch and end up streaming. Some restreamers could get some lucrative ad revenue ![]()

anyways, I'll have no use for TL if there's no more BW, except maybe to check in to see who's dominating the sc2 scene every now and then. No interest in really following the sc2 scene closely or watching any games. Lately there has been some noise about Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo being in some major tournaments again (EVO in Vegas coming up). SSF2T is BW as SF4 is SC2, I hate SF4, so I'm quite excited for ssf2t to be getting a revival. I pretty much feel the same way about this as I would if BW made a come back in a few years. I'm especially interested in this because I can actually compete in these competitions. I'll be following this scene a lot if BW dies completely

But I'll still probably check in and stuff, the foreign scene is still there despite what people might think.

The best and only thing we can do now is: 1.Try to watch pro BW as much as we can. 2.Try not to talk that much about BW dying. 3.Play as much as we can to keep the community alive.
