A brony is just someone who enjoys the MLP:FIM series, not matter how much or how little, you can be an uberbrony and super impassioned, writing fanfics and art, and buying merch, or you can be the guy that watches the episodes after having a bad day to cheer up, both are equally bronies. EDIT: Also I think you mean either Lingo or Jargon, Jingo isn't a word afaik ^_^ | ||

The word brony is really just used to refer to older fans of the show who are outside of its target demographic. Despite the name, it usually includes older female fans as well. That's it. Within that very broad definition, you'll find anyone from casual fans to the Equestrian equivalent of, "Back in episode 152, when Data was on the holodeck playing poker with Stephen Hawking..." Everypony equal, everypony loved. | ||

Heh, it took me a while to parse what you were saying because of the typo on "lingo." Kept wondering what MLP had to do with patriotic war (tyrant celestia?). Brony is someone who likes the show. As with anything, there are degrees, so the term brony encompasses everyone from "watched the show and liked it" to "writes creepy shipping fics" I suppose that could be extended to derivative works. | ||

I personally classify a "brony" as any person outside of the show's intended demographic that is a fan of it in some capacity. You can look at being a brony like swimming in the ocean. You might be only ankle-deep, neck-deep, or swimming in waters that are many fathoms deep, it just depends on where you are in the fandom. At the end of the day, though, everypony equal. | ||

I don't know how much longer it'll be before I unplug my computer for the weekend and go to sleep (5:30 AM start tomorrow, woooooooooooooooooooo!), so I'm gonna post this as a parting gift over the weekend: http://pastebin.com/uaSVpCXv The first 1/5th of the fanfic I'm working on. It's enough to see some foreshadowing done and a story arc or two play out completely. Feel free to PM me any reactions/feedback to it or leave a post here.
