I really hope you're kidding about this. I'm 100% serious about my point. Are we really going to try to exploit every single mechanic in place in a game to try to avoid the actual point of a mafia game which is to analyze and use scum hunting skills? Not to mention this doesn't even work. Look at Kita escaping lynch for a hilarious amount of days because of his "PM convo" with Radfield. It took me two days of setup to finally convince people that he was mafia and should be voted for.

yes okay i agree. my "plan" is a bit lame. it's a process that uses the game mechanics in an unfair way. but i guess, posting the logs to avoid a lynch will happen anyway, unless it's forbidden. no further discussion needed.

RebirthOfLegend's team mini game was an entirely different game where the setup itself made mentor/newbie teams. You lurked hardcore through that game and ended up getting lynched as DT, leading to a perfect mafia victory.
I don't get why you are trying to shut discussion down. Nobody is lynching hyshes yet, but his plan did look like it was conceived by a mafia mind. Then you bring out an explanation about why plans are usually posted in the thread, covering a lot of scenarios that clearly do not apply, and missing the scenario that did apply. hyshes didn't try to draw out mafia by intentionally posting a bad plan and I don't think that hyshes seems like he is bad at thinking up plans. hyshes made his post, knowing that the plan could not be implemented just to appear clever. Mafia will have an interest in appearing to be good or potentially good for town, without actually contributing. This is what hyshes did and this is a scenario that your sharp mind did not cover in your plan analysis for some reason.

Coming back to RebirthOfLegend's team mini game, in that game you were DT and you checked inactives, because then scum would be forced to be active and active scum is scum that cannot hide. I see your concerns about people trying to confirm themselves 100% by just posting a falsifiable quicktopic. But this is more activity that mafia will have to do, and this will give town more content to analyse and bigger chance for scum to do something unfortunate. I see your concerns about using mechanics instead of analysis, this is not how it should be done, but forcing scum to do extra work and increasing their chances of slipping, I think that's something chaoser from RebirthOfLegend's team mini game would have liked?
You still think that checking inactives is the best way to play as a DT? There's not going to be many inactives in this game I think, even though some teams have been weirdly silent, so should DT try to confirm some of the more active analyzers?

New Rule!
Any attempt at posting something that seems like valid "out of thread content" in the thread will be met with a mod-kill. This is a no-PM game, so there should be no reason try to post logs of private in-team communications.
You can definitely say "My teammate thinks X", but you are not allowed to post anything that looks like chatlogs/pms/quicktopic-logs to back it up

It´s not abusing mechanics, it´s using what you have in order to win. This still doesn´t excuse how Chaoser and hyshes has acted in other respects, Chaoser taking a backseat while his partner suggest Anti-Town plans. I thought Chaoser would have stepped in if he thought hyshes was making a fool of himself, instead he waited until he was called out. Chaoser was actively lurking while his team was being accused, that doesn´t make sense, unless he was weathering the storm, hoping that hyshes would be excused because of him being new. One player is acting scummy, and the other just happens to be acting scummy, makes me suspect they are a scumteam.

I think you are being deliberatly daft here supersoft. Use your brain, why is Chezinu a great asset to a scum team? Because half the people don't even read his posts because they are nonsense. 1.) *if* a player is being coached he isn't going to say "oh, he told me to say ____" in fact the response is probably going to be "oh, you know, we talked about stuff" independent of any coaching that may be going on. Its worthless discussion because its not going to lead to anything, and any statements made about what happens between the two players are entirely unprovable, Its completely irrelevant and isn't going to add anything to the discussion, or help finding scum
2.) I'm not sure, I'm waiting on more evidence to draw a conclusion, there isn't much difference between the two, spamming usually seeds chaos, as to whether it is done with a scum agenda, I'm not sure, I think it may be scum motivated, but we'll see.

yes okay. you're right in general. i was more focussed on this individial case with prplhz and i didnt get the feeling that he did that on purpose. that doesnt mean i think he's protown in general.
i am going to filter our viking team now and after that i'll reread chaosers partner hyshes. i wann compare his play in this game to his play in snmm. lets what we can get.
