if you're town, save all your conversations with your teampartner. if you're getting lynched, these conversations may provide something that speaks in favor of you. I know scum will do that, too now... BUT it's a lot of work to fake logs. and why should we be gentle with these guys?! | ||

I really thought that using bad grammar and no punctuation and saying "u" instead of "you" for a while would trigger someone to go for me just because it ticked them off. I kinda stopped when kitaman27 asked me to because I thought that a couple of pages would be enough. So what kind of nonsense am I pushing that doesn't further finding scum? I thought hyshes' statement was pretty weird and I pursued that, as did some other people so there must have been something to it. You have posted a great big picture and then said that lurkers aren't too cool. Then you want to "sit back until later when we can talk about power roles". Well I guess what I think about that should be obvious to most people. | ||

You seem to be all over the place atm, GMarsh. I think that's a pretty convoluted reason to think someone is mafia, especially in light of a much simpler and robust reason for hyshes being mafia. I would take your reads and reverse them; I think hyshes is probably scum (with chaoser) and I can't read prpl atm. | ||

We've seen many townies produce super anti-town plans in the past, which is why I'm hesitant to judge him just on that. I'm actually decent at reading chaoser, which is why I'm reserving judgement, I should be able to figure chaoser out a lot faster than hyshes, whom I have no experience with. So yeah, I'm jotting him down as a null read till I see more. But by all means, pile on the votes, I'm intrigued to see how that whole team reacts. | ||

I agree with you, once chaoser starts posting we'll have a better idea. However, the issue is not the plan about reading PMs. The issue is the fact that he's concerned about covering up mistakes, or preventing mistakes. Townies don't actively try to prevent or cover up mistakes; they're not concerned with getting "caught" (oh I caught a townie! yay!). Rather, scum should be afraid of getting caught. There were no pro-town aspects to his plan. Sure, plans can be bad, but the merit of the plan is not what we're talking about. For the most part, I don't give a flying shit about 95% of plans. (ex. I don't care for your jailkeeper idea; I'm with sandro on that) However, I do care about motivation. A plan could be bad, but if it's pushed forth with town motivation I don't care, I have the information I need, and what matters is that we stuff the plan in the face so we don't have to deal with it. On the other hand, if a plan is anti-town and it seems to be pushed forward with an agenda that we need to be concerned of, I get suspicious. | ||

I agree with you, once chaoser starts posting we'll have a better idea. I didn't know you cared so much about what I have to say. I'm in this game on more of an advisory capacity much like how some players/teams were like in RoL's team mini game (I also mainly advised that game). Plans are useless this game. What's the point of a plan? Playing a dry cut and orderly game of mafia with analysis and logic should be enough. If you guys really are going to jump on a dude who posted a horrible plan outright and say he's mafia then I gotta shake my head at that. Mafia don't post a bad plan that's going to bring a lot of attention to them; mafia's not going to attention whore. Townies more often than not do that to either draw out mafia trying to seem "pro-town" (see wherebugsgo with his give me the ring plan in LoTR) or they're just really bad at making/thinking up plans lol. Mafia like to seem pro-town and post things that either agree with what everyone else is saying or lurks. Or they post genuinely good ideas that they feel don't really put them at a disadvantage.
