The much more unlikely scenario here is that everyone who has stepped forward with information and stories which shed a negative light on nano are all criticizing an innocent player who has been seriously mischaracterized by his fellow players and former peers.
It also doesn't help that the people who defend him seem to be mostly if not entirely newish accounts with very low post counts. I have a pretty low post count myself compared to some of course, but there is a distinct lack of long time TL vets vouching for him or defending his "side" of the story. His name change between teams is questionable as well, what sort of player won't even defend his own name?
Core is taking a bold step moving forward with him involved. They must be confident that it's the right thing to do for the team. Here's hoping you're right guys.

I have known neurotic for a few months, I am not one of his clan members. Neurotic is a pretty decent guy. But he is a shark. He doesn't really care about the community he cares about owning the community. He Started with the arcade game AOS. He meet some resistance with a few trolls i included. Then decided to rip our AOS community apart. Taking a decent sized player base from the AOS Mumble Server. He did not restrict his players in core gaming from coming back on to mumble for a while. Now he is actively pressuring his members to boycott the Mumble server for his own Team Speak server. And he is pressuring other AOS clans to boycott playing on the Mumble Server. The Mumble server is where we talk directly with the game creator and play private AOS games and discuss balance.
I would Welcome Neurotic into you community but just be aware of him. Some people accuse him of shady acts. Like rigging tourneys in favor for his own clan, Allowing teams to play then suddenly DQ them for no apparent reason after he gave them the ok to play. Etc.. But i dont really buy into it
But in the end i think he is a pretty good guy, his biggest problem he doesn't know how to handle the internet, trolls etc.. and he takes it all personally and gets upset. I remember when a few members of his clan quit and they were the better AOS players in his clan and he freaked out and was just really upset. He runs his community like a business, but fails to understand were still just casual people playing a casual game
Core gaming isnt a scam. All the money going around the clan is coming from his own pocket
i look forward to see how far this clan can go would be neat if they made it tbh

I doubt that anyone would welcome someone into the community after 3 months. Trust me on that, this community is cutt-throat and all it takes is one accusation and you're done.
Prove the money is coming from his own pocket. Let's see bank statements and/or verification. If you know it is, shouldn't be a problem to provide proof. If you can't then its a allegedly coming out of his pocket and until factual information can be found its proven false until done so.

I wouldn't show any one bank records over the internet.....
That demand is pretty ridiculous lol.
Core is just a jump start group trying to grow them selves. If the clan owner wants to give a little cash here and there i dont see the problem. All he is doing is recruiting no name grand master players right?
I dont support core but id still like to see them succeed. The owner kinda hates me quite a lot cause i dont get along with one of his management people

Yes, Quidditch. He hates you because you hate Ironsights. It's just small talk compared to this complete dramatic attempt to takedown Core Gaming.
Also, Bank records are not for internets...

Just wait for the guy to make his announcement and let things play out before you guys get your pitchforks out. It's crazy that we're jumping on top of people before things are even set in motion.
On a positive note...gl to Core gaming hopefully you guys can show the community to not be so skeptical all the damn time.

The OP should really get a tl;dr in there. Not that I don't want to read 10 pages of accusations but more like: This is what is going on, this is the statement of core, this is the statement of the accuser, so the reader can judge easier than just going through a swamp of back and forth Oo.

I dont hate anyone or anything about Core. I don't know anything about nor do I honestly care. I'm coming from a legal perspective and coming from someone who has spent 15+ years in this community since SC1 back in 98 moving onward.
So if you really want to accuse me of having a personal vendetta against someone I know nothing about, be my guest, its your entitlement, but I truly don't give a shit about anything or anyone involved, however when it affects the community in a negative manner I will care about it because I did spend 15+ years being involved in this community through its ups and downs.
And bills can be displayed on the internet through redacting / censoring and there is no issues, so you can't say you cant or its not meant for it. I've done it on numerous occasions and do it frequently today for professional work.

I have asked [Core] Neurotic in two separate posts if [Core] Cell is in fact Milad, the Purdue student and humanitarian entrepreneur. [Core] Neurotic has not answered my question yet.
I have also sent an inquiry to Mr. on Facebook informing him that his likeness is being used by a management team member of Core Pro Gaming. Mr.has not yet responded; if he does, I will post the response here as a screenshot.
edit: [Core] Neurotic has claimed that [Core] Cell is indeed Milad.

Even if that actually checks out to be him (it would still be really damn surprising), it doesn't change much. It doesn't excuse him from the compulsive lying he's done in this community and the attempted tries of screwing over the reputations of others that have already been proven. As long as he's still associated with the team, not many people are going to take them seriously or have much respect for them regardless of whether they turn out to be a legitimate team or not.
It also doesn't excuse the other complaints listed above regarding a player being offered support to pay his rent and even explaining it seemed sketchy, managers going into livestream chats trying to steal players and the various other inconsistencies of stories between management individuals. If it's a legit team, then they need to understand how to properly conduct their business because having that much inconsistency makes them look like a sketchy organization which is why this thread was made.

Confirmed: Nanocloud is an extraordinary person. [Core] Virium: i'm tired of all the hate core is getting from people in the tl community no doubt you are helping the hate just leave core alone please if we are getting scammed dont you think we as players would say something? seriously.. tl community needs to freaken chill out and leave us alone You: well idk nanocloud [Core] Virium: so why would you believe everything you read about in a thread when you dont know me, nanocloud, or core [Core] Virium: it just upsets me that a few trolls in community take it upon themselves to spread garbage and random people believe it [Core] Virium: also i'm pretty sure elevation the guy spreading the bm is part of OG just please leave us alone, all the players, management, we just want to have fun playing sc2. I'm tired from all this hate based on frivolous !@#$. You: its seemse fishy [Core] Virium: i've known nanocloud since team sca, smi, and now core. Why would i keep joining a team if i didnt trust nanocloud and if he didnt prove his trust You: no clue [Core] Virium: if it seems fishy, then how about you not read the hate and wait until our official annoucement? not a single player on the team has complained we are having the time of our lives but apparently some elevation guy takes it upon himself to say we are being scammed? thanks mom.. but I'm quite confident I know what i'm doing and i'm pretty sure everyone else on the team is adult enough to know whats going on i know elevation isnt doing this to help us he is doing it becuase he hates nanocloud probably because nanocloud seems unbelieable in the re al world.. tell elevation to go get a job and google "extrodinary people" there are many nanocloudisk people in the real world Last Message 8:07 PM

The troll in the post prev. to this one is kinda funny. Even has Ethopia as his region on TL, hah.
In all seriousness, I haven't followed sMi or this from the beginning and feel like I can't be one to judge either scenario 100% seriously. I've still read topics regarding both, and finding out how shady the deal w/sMi was really makes me anxious about new teams and new payouts in SC2. There's been a crapton of fraudulencies (if that's a word) and lack of payment going around. If you aren't in the loop of things as of lately, you really should be.
Despite any legitimacy behind this new "Core Gaming" team/clan/whatever the hell, it's really not looking in favor of them. Just from a 3rd-person perspective, I'd advise any person to avoid even the slightest disturbances that are cropping up. If you manage to be successful, congrats to you (directed at Neurotic/Cell/Nano/whoever else involved).
I just know that I wouldn't touch this with a 10-foot pole wearing a bomb suit made to withstand nuke blasts. If you're capable of success, it'll happen regardless. Otherwise, you've already fallen apart and I don't expect this to last long.
It'd be nice to see some attorneys involved in this. I feel like this is starting to become a problem where people need to get sued. (slander vs. fraud, look dem things up broski)

Why do we have drama/scam threads over the same guy/involving the same people (scammers and whistleblowers all the same) every 5 days ? Seriously. Learn not to mop your floor in public for a while and deal with things privately.
...and stop making fuss on your team when it doesn't even exist yet. You should not have a paid team "sponsored" by shady/random societies who belong to the team managers lol. Life expectancy of these have always been 3/6months max.
Do not advertise this before getting results and being a long term team. It is not being "esportssssssssss", it is trying to get a society starting up and have it known through you showing "care" and dedication, while in fact, you do not. And it shows.
