heyo big fan of your pvz but just had a question/suggestion about it i see you get your 4th gateway right after the nexus and i have to say, i have a problem with that^^ i don't think i've ever been able to make use of 3 let alone 4 gates constantly while trying to get the forge/robo/cannon up at a decent time i think the premise behind the quick 4th gate is a pre-emptive response to a roach/ling 2 base all in but i think the faster cannon more directly answers this and regardless if they are all-inning you, you can get the obs/immortal out faster and the transition to colossus is a bit smoother without 4 gateway cool downs pulling at your ankles the whole way
I think the 4th gate shortly after the forge or maybe even the robo if you're feeling extra safe might be a bit more optimal.
would be glad to hear your thoughts on the matter
your stream is the bees knees, m8.

I really only learned about you during Rumble in the Bronze, but you've quickly become my favorite amateur caster, and I love that you're casting events like Idra/Jinro. At the risk of sounding cheesy, tonight's stream with coaching then Anna time then playing made my week!

I really seem to enjoy watching our stream over others. I think its the high quality, that you don't BM or complain very much and that you talk about your games and other random entertaining stuff.
So keep it up! Its a great way for me to have a break between sessions/work/uni etc.

I LOVE your Stream and ur impersonation of TB hahaha XD god u are the best wish there were more funny casters like you

"Here come the banering bombbbb!"
Please keep doing this for all code A games this season, or however long KellyMilkies is on. This completely redeems code A.
THAT IS A LOT OF BAIMNINGS.

Love your stream man. Had to say it....... tried to stop myself but i love it .

Shouldn't all that money from /commercial be able to pay for a premium ticket so you don't have to watch a HQ restream. SirScoots is awesome, I am sure he can buy you a premium ticket. Asking how much money someone makes is almost as social unacceptable as bragging about how much money you make.

I love this stream, It's so nice to have people talking and not playing so much music as the regular streams, 5 hairwhips out of 5 to incontrol!
|
thank you for the stream tonight, has been listening to your stream instead of the gomtv one. saved the games for a lot of people, kind of boring listening to music.
|
that was awesome tonight with JP and Idra... good show LOL @ the laughing shark

This is awesome, I love every aspect. Technical difficulties are totally fine, but I think the observer has no training in how it's done; you can't jerk the camera around that much the games look extremely chaotic. Use middle mouse, or turn down scroll speed. He has the fastest speed and uses the arrow keys to jerk the camera so that information overload happens every time until he keeps it still for a short while. Just tying to help!

As much as I enjoy Incontrol's stream, the Clash of the Titans has been a bit of a disappointment. There's been a lot of fairly noticeable sync issues between the casting and observing. Biggest being at least a 30 second delay between seeing gg in game 3 and hearing gretorp and incontrol actually commentate the end of the match. And a personal thing, I'm not exactly a fan of the casters over a green screen of the game.

The async stuff could really have been sorted out if it's pre-recorded stuff.
|
so the stream casting is behind the action by about 4 seconds

Completely agree, the production quality is hugely lacking. Something I hope is due to a relatively new operation coming from iNcontrol. The green screen casters in front of the game (even in the beginning moments) is cliche and not needed. Cutting to the casters during game is disorienting and seems like a mistake on the production side. Even the small screen in screen with the casters on the bottom right is not necessary. Also, while watching from TL, the ads never played.. something iNcontrol should be aware of. iNcontrol, love you but please look to SCReddit casts to see production quality I feel is needed on your end.
EDIT:
Just wanted to add that something that will also help your production is proper branding. 'Clash of the Titans' is typeset in a papyrus style font with a drop shadow over some stock photo wood complete with a cliche animation of the wood smashing together. This sort of thing is an obvious amateur attempt at after effects. Then to seal the deal, 'Clash of the Titans' is set in helvetica or something similar as the overlay. Keeping these things consistent and investing in a designer will hugely improve your production quality. PM me if you need help with your graphic work

Streaming is way more important than The Office, but at least I can watch GSL.
|
Wow do you also coach this late? I was interested, but always assumed you couldn't go so late.

What you do for Sc2 an e-sports in general is so awesome, dont let those haters get through to you, man.
The production value of the showmatch was outstanding, few minor problems but no one expects you to be perfect from the start, haters gonna hate anyway.
Btw, this is ofc my personal reflection, but the "european" comments in the showmatch thread seemed more cheereful and positive, than the ones from the US, I read quite a lot of negative ones, might want to adress that in the next SotG haha...

This is right on the money as far as the visuals go, you don't need a professional designer who charges a ton but that didn't look as good as it could have. I could have whipped up something far more interesting with a colour scheme to match. The nasl.tv site looks nice, and the same tileset should have been used for the showmatch screen easily. (Of course no one has unlimited funding though, and I know if they had $300 to spend on the showmatch design alone, then they would )
However. The idea, and what was actually said is so great for esports, this should stir the competition in an awesome way and give the western world an arena to match the korean one. This is a great beginning for SC2 to become as popular as BW is in Korea. There are tons of fans in Europe and America, and having these events to actually go to and watch will be a tremendous boon to the community.
I am not sure about this, but when they cut to the casters they resynced the sound (I might be wrong), and if that was so, then it was a very clever solution. When two guys play in Korea and the casters are live casting in the US then people can't really expect zero latency.
Also, the game music should have been on, this is an extremely important way to create atmosphere. If you have heard a cast with music on in the background then it becomes so obvious when it is off.
But fuck it, the games were interesting, the players and the maps were great. In the end, apart for this criticism, this is fucking great for SC2 in the west.
Edit: To put this more succinctly, yes the font and the wood could have been something else and the delay was a bit annoying. But what is really important is what these people are actually doing for Starcraft 2, taking a risk, and putting themselves out there, not just grinding out the ladder or making decent posts on the forum, but actually helping to make Starcraft the greatest thing ever. SC2 will never reach BW levels of popularity if someone doesn't stick their neck out to make this great thing even better. And for that I thank you .

I think I got banned when incontrol was coaching a kid and his older brother. The older brother was beyond rude to incontrol and I may or may not have made fun of said older brother in the chat. Any chance I can get unbanned? Username = mateo78
