1) Do NOT promote your own stream in this thread. You may create a separate thread to do so. 2) Do NOT post in this thread to request a streaming site / channel change.

You don't need a stream page to apply, but if you want to make a stream page just put it in the SC2 General and then use the app again to have it applied to be moved.
(or do you make it in just General?)

just posting so i can see how long i've been a member for :D

A question about the name change, if I request a name change now then apply for stream, when/if the name change is applied will it affect the stream as well? Or should I request name change, wait until that is applied, then apply for the stream?
Thanks in advance.

Is it necessary to make a pos in sc2 general about your new user stream? Stream app says its optional but I am just wondering how it affects the application process. If someone could give me a short and sweet answer that would be lovely. Thanks!

It doesn't matter. Some streams don't even have a topic. You need a stream before you can make the topic, so one isn't dependent of the other.
This is from my understanding at least.

hey the dyyno launcher that justin.tv comes with says you have 10 free broadcasts before you have to pay $50... did everyone have to pay this? i always thought streaming was free...

TL has it's own search engine for the site. Typing in guide and stream gives you plenty of options for free streaming. Most people do indeed not pay $50 but instead use other alternatives.

I was wondering because MANY people use it, even people who are in the lower leagues with 0-2 viewers at a time - i didn't think they would spend as much for a stream that practically no one watches :/

I believe so, but you cannot use XSplit. It all depends on your specs and internet connection.

I am high diamond and want to stream my journey getting into masters you get silver/gold/platinum players streaming Clive the live user streams on the right, it'll bring up descriptions of all the online streamers. Most of them tell you what level they are :D
personally i prefer watching high diamond/masters players. Incontrol is my favorite player, but right now im watching BulletTv (a rank 1 master toss) cos the games are just better. Everyone just cheeses pros and it makes the game really boring most of the time im sure you'll get alot of viewers, especially if you dont just play really loud music, people prefer it when you talk about what youre doing and stuff

I have been streaming for a couple weeks now and this 3 month rule is extremely frustrating. I am high diamond and streaming in HQ 3-4 times a week... It's a shame that I can't get my stream up on TL since I didn't bother to make a profile until recently even though I've been a fan for months. It doesn't seem like the 3 month rule is relevant to whether or not your stream can be listed.

Two questions from someone who wants to start streaming:
1. Which website is the 'best?' I'm looking for good live streaming, as well as easy access and managing of archived videos.
2. Is it okay if I don't stream SC2 for a majority of the time, but other games instead?
3. If I have a really good computer but bad upload speed (0.41 Mb/s), I can still stream right?
