Majority of the people who watch IdrA's stream are there to learn. To watch a world ranked player play sc2. Trolling his stream chat is retarded because no one reads that. If they want entertainment, there's TLO/Bitters/Spanishiwa/Destiny streaming. With that said, I'm sure 90% of the 15,000 people who watch IdrA stream won't watch cruncher's because of this. Granted there will be trolls who go into his channel but it won't make a difference. | ||

Be that as it may, being a nerd since wee age I have spent a great deal of time at various different forums. I have however yet to encounter a forum with as active moderators as tl.net. I have never been banned before until I joined here. It is not national law we are enforcing, which everyone is equal before. It's a website's too hard rules of conduct to control discussion, and right now it is severely impacting the fans ability to enjoy their favourite streamer. Yes, it is okay to make an exception for Idra. Not that I care much for all the drama going on atm, but I think your post needed a response.I, myself have been in various forums, and things always turn out bad, if some are given special treatment - say long term poster(and that happens a lot). Some are allowed to do whatever they want, while others can't. It's weak moderation and it creates an unfair hierarchy. I have high hopes for TL forums, because of the fact that they do have strong and active moderators, that do not discriminate, and actually do their best to uphold their laws. I can relate to IdrA going over the top, but being empathic shouldn't bend rules. Without clearcut moderation things escalate, and in the end becomes horrid. | ||
