seriously I think that ban is absurd. It is not like he insulted him for no reason. The guy was stream cheating. I for one and I am sure many others in these forums have no tolerance for that kind of behavior, even though it was just ladder. Are we not supposed to voice our opinions on behavior that has no integrity at all?

Cruncher lost my respect, one thing you would never catch Idra doing is Ghost Streaming. Cruncher, just lost a lot of respect from the community. This event will be linked with his name from now on. Will be a skeleton in his closet any time they bring up Idra and Cruncher. First off none of this would have happened if Cruncher played by the rules. I would vote for him to get non-featured. For a shot for some one that is honest to get his spot. **Its funny Cruncher was not temp banned for his comments on his 16 page Fan Page ;P

I'm disappointed in the ban, but Idra did deserve it, you shouldn't be able to disrespect other people and call them "a waste of life." If anything I think this is lenient since Idra is just getting another temp ban in a long list and not a perm ban which he his is not immune to.

I agree it's annoying that he did it, but no need to get so dramatic about it. It's not like he cheated in some high-stakes game, nor is it even provable that he did use the stream for anything other than the initial snipe, though his reaction was absolutely perfect for having no idea about what was coming.

Be that as it may, being a nerd since wee age I have spent a great deal of time at various different forums. I have however yet to encounter a forum with as active moderators as tl.net. I have never been banned before until I joined here. It is not national law we are enforcing, which everyone is equal before. It's a website's too hard rules of conduct to control discussion, and right now it is severely impacting the fans ability to enjoy their favourite streamer. Yes, it is okay to make an exception for Idra.

The real question is, does JP get back his part of the "bet" -- or perhaps 2/3 of it as it's only been 2 days?
As this is my 2nd post on TL in quite some time, I'm hoping to get banned :D
The commentary was cool but it seemed like he only played 1 hour each day, which was much less than I was expecting TBH. Then he gets on and rants about how he doesn't have to play anymore.

He played a lot today. And he usually plays a little over an hour. He's not playing less because of the commentary. Honestly his competition on ladder has been really shoddy recently so he doesn't have much to say and he sure as hell isn't going to stream practice games. The commentary is still really interesting IMO.

I don't think anyone who likes IdrA enough to watch his stream will watch Crunchers. Maybe they'll watch Tyler or Whitera or some other good protoss but the IdrA demographic probably isn't interested in Cruncher's "style"

Did you know it's actually OK to disagree with IdrA? Did you know I can like to watch IdrA play, but not be embroiled in all his drama enough to refuse to watch some other player who he says is worthless/skill-less/fucking terrible (which is what, like 95% of the players)?
