Maybe a double expand or something could have evened it out. I dont even play the game so cant say Im an expert.

I don't think anyone who likes IdrA enough to watch his stream will watch Crunchers. Maybe they'll watch Tyler or Whitera or some other good protoss but the IdrA demographic probably isn't interested in Cruncher's "style"

Not that I disagree with you in terms of Idra's fans not wanting to watch Cruncher's but I think you're kind of underestimating the amount of people / variety of people who watch Idra's stream. Idra said it himself, he feels that being despised by a part of the community actually kind of helps him because it just brings in more viewers who want to see him fail. Also, there's a pretty large window when Whitera/Tyler both aren't on. Such as now.
But anyways, can't Idra just continue streaming and announce when he's doing so by posting it on his twitter or something? Then people can post in the fanclub thread that he's posting and we can all still watch it?

Cruncher trying (and succeeding) into trolling someone into being banned for a pretty bland statement doesn't deserve extra viewers. Trolling used to be against forum rules, apparently now it gets the people you're trolling banned. And anyone who badmouths the troll banned too.

I think that IdrA has said worse things to people on the forums and hasn't received bans for those.
But, I suppose that if the TL admins feel its worth a ban, they know best in this matter.

No point in crying about it, there's no way any organization, especially TL, can cave in on its policies in this kind of a situation. They'll set up a defence around Chill, and be right to do so. It's a poor situation, and even the one that doesn't deserve to be named shouldn't receive credit for making it bad for everyone.
Idra did stream a great deal of content already, though, so perhaps it would be better to revisit the vods and try to interpret his rather laconic statements.
