Also we have seen a good ref once more, only one minor wrong call iirc.

I hope we don't need half the game to get over the nerves next time. Too many of the younger players in Sweden who didn't step up at all.

Chills.... I think both sides played well up front. The defence was questionable, but my God it was exciting. I'm not worried about either side in this group :D

They have only been in one major tournament ever (2006), and they're coming into this championship with two straight losses whereas Sweden is 5-0 in 2012 and has a strong squad led by an absolute top notch, world class striker who is coming from his best season ever. I don't see how it's being a ''realist'' to say that Ukraine should take this game ''fairly easily''. And talking about ''invetitable losses'' vs France and England; we never lose to England in competetive games. ![]() Oh hi there. Everything went as I anticipated as Ukraine played better and took the game fairly comfortably. Also, I spelled "inevitable" correctly, so I'm not sure why you would cite it as "invetitable".

I just hate how Sweden (Mellberg) keeps trying the long passes from all over the field. It doesn't only generate boring games, it is also such a chance play. Also, Lustig leaving the post during Ukraine's corner goal... I learned in kiddy league to not leave the post as a defender during corners until the ball was cleared :D Hoping for a midsummer miracle now!

And even if I'm mad because the referee blew the whistle too much I must say he did a good job. I'm hope we can defeat England and France now...(who am I kidding...?)
