I was planning on waiting until this whole thing was done to release it, but it's likely going to take me right up untill just before the finals themselves, so instead I'm going to release work in progress increments leading up to a polished final release on finals day, I figure that's the best way of actually building some hype ^^

Awesome man, I like your drawing style.
You should do one of Thorzain climbing out of the "cockpit" of a thor. If you did that, you should send it to me. I would love to colour it and add a "spacy" background/smoke effects/other things in photoshop! Make an awesome background or cheerful.

Wow, that's really really good. I love scetches over everything else, as they have this special feel to me. I love your style. Best picture is the 2nd to last panel. Awesome, him with the outstretched arms and the BC in the background!

can't tell whether you're being serious . It's kinda shocking really, god I wanted blizz to keep up the GSL winner pictures thing, would have been so cool to have some regular awesome hype art.

Updated. I added some tone to this last because honestly I don't think I'm gonna get it done by tommorow, if at all. It might seem pretty sketchy stuff, but this lot has taken me like 25 hours on its own, I may just have to leave it.
That said, we have resolution. In case this is all there is, I hope you enjoy the comic and I'm looking forward to some incredible games ^^

Man that looks really good. I think this is the best TSL3 finals hype yet! I really like the setting with Chill and Day[9] as the "watchers" viewing the field of battle.
I can't wait to see the rest and see what you do with it.

I just want to clarify that pre finals there aren't going to be any more comics. However, due to the positive reception this has gotten, I am certainly going to do one or two more POST finals as a wrapup, possibly also something on the 3/4 place match, but don't count on it. I may also do a far higher quality bit of art for the winner, a-la the piece samwise did for fruitdealer. Sorry to dissapoint, but I don't wanna give people false expectations

@ionize, yeah it's chill ^^. I'm really no good at drawing distinctive faces since I my regular stuff is ultrasimplified comic faces. This is the first time I've ever tried to draw caricatures of actual people. Sean came out really well because he has such a distinctive face, hairstyle and glasses. I can't say the same for the others

welp, I just finished up a 6 hour drawing session, I have the thing scripted, maquetted and about 60% sketched. It's about as long as the three hype comics combined, and it should look waaaay better since I'm actually going about it aiming to use the sort of shading I did in the third part of the hype comic.
It's still going to take me at least one to two days to finish, so I figure I'll post some teasers as I go to keep people interested...
