Just a note:

I liked the "Fan Reactions" in the Day 1 and 2 threads... not a huge deal but some of them were pretty good

Well sir, I don't want to start shit. But not coming prepared to a match is their own fault. If you don't come prepared to a $15,000 first prize tournament you really should get rolled, Korean or not, Lag or not, no exceptions.

You can't take anything away from the foreigners performance just because they came prepared and the Koreans didn't. Preparation is part of the game.

I don't think that they will make that mistake again.

That's the scary part. They are very 'angry' now and you can bet they will go all out on the korea vs the world matches. And on every subsequent event too. Run before it's too late ahahaha.
If you label every single aggressive strategy 'cheese', you are officially declaring yourself an incurable mental retard.

i think Idra vs Cruncher series confirmed the fact that zergs must pressure tosses. If tosses can just get their deathball, it's near imporssible to stop.

Great interviews, as always

I really like Goody's mindset, as he seems to be putting a lot of work to prepare for his matches, thinking of new strategies: "I would like Naniwa, because otherwise I have only zergs and that makes it a lot harder to always prepare new builds".

He lost to a 6gate in game 3, and could have easily had game 1 if he didn't make a million corrupters to fight the mass void ray/stalker... remaking muta/roach would have been a better option.

You're right, MVP regularly loses units to probes when he doesn't come prepared.

Adelscott and QXC played two of the best games I've ever seen, especially game 2 for QXC. I hope they make it really far (unless they're against each other next round, I don't remember the layout).
If the quarter was in your right hand, that would've been micro

TSL was never a SC2 competition until now. Koreans never competed before either.

The top players have always been pretty close.

I would have done well in the bracket competition. The only major surprise was Goody beating Nestea as I've said before. Every other match went as I expected.

He's really rather good, very entertaining to watch generally too.

====

NIce interview from Nani, we're here cheering for you! He usually beats Goody handily, so I fully expect him to reach r8 =)
