You seem to forget that half our casters are on the other side of the world, no amazing program can increase the speed of light. Also mumble is terrible and clunky, TS3 has UDP support and works just as well. | ||

And last but not least there's more than just the inherent internet latency to it. In a studio people SEE each other talking, they can instantly visually communicate and hence easily coordinate who talks. That is not possible on the internet. It works reasonably well with two people, especially when they have experience doing it together (and even then it occasionally happens that they interrupt each other). With more people it's just going to happen constantly. | ||

B) Not that my opinion matters, but I'd very much prefer to see Day and Chill cast the finals. They both know much more than I do about the game; this helps both in terms of overall strategic analysis and also just in terms of them being good at observing. For example, sometimes when they aren't casting I feel like "I wish the casters / obs would check whether <insert important upgrade / strategic move> is happening, but they don't seem to realize the importance." | ||
