Annoying, inappropriate, but not that serious. At least it wasn't any kind of hate speech or sexual slurs :/
Interestingly though, Pholon didn't hand out a LP ban for it....

Oh yeah I wasn't meaning to suggest it should have been different I was just discussing the bans having remembered when I first started editting I was actually asking in IRC for fear that if I got anything wrong it'd be considered vandalism and the ban hammer would destroy my account.
Which actually makes mods sound really evil, but that's not what I mean. I like getting everything right when I try anything.
Also, I had no idea you could get LP banned!
Edit: Though I should add that technically was hate speech too, but I still don't disagree with your general point.

Yup, it happens pretty infrequently though. You really have to be acting like a pain in the ass. LP2 ban list: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Special:BlockList
The last guy on the list, Victory earned himself a perm ban from LP by actually seriously defacing Scarlett's page: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Special:Contributions/Victory
Somehow a LP perm doesn't seem like enough, it's a shame we can't ban people like that from the planet....
edit:Though I should add that technically was hate speech too, but I still don't disagree with your general point
I think that falls under the category of clearly not understanding the issue at hand, but that's just IMO.

Oh wow, thanks for the link. Interesting to know. Also you may be right, I might be just seeing something more malicious for being too close to the issue.

I think we would all agree on that.

There also seems to be less balance whining in the BW forums. I guess because the game is older.

The only difference is the bad posters in SC2 get permed after about 200 posts, poor posters in BW tend to somehow reach 5000 posts before they get permed. Tomato, Tomaato. Sweet. I still have 2800 posts worth left of shitty posting before I get banned :O

Lol, it's true though! Whenever someone with like 5000 posts gets banned they're always people in the BW forum or BW tournaments.

Actually idrA has been permed like 3 times. He's the exception to the every rule.

I might remember some things from when I was six, but I try my hardest to block out any non-video game related memories from before I was sixteen.
And Kefka just off a ban already posting crazy things! lol thank you I got a good chuckle out of that.
