Interesting how you happen to mention this! In the spirit of at least some transparancy on occasion, it happens to be that his ban had some talk behind it but far from enough according to alot of mods. As such my course of action (understandably) is under discussion at the moment as being rash and in violation of certain procedures, results and consequences pending.
Moderation, not just content but procedure as well are an ongoing process and learning experience.
