How does that work? It looks like normal links to me. And maybe they just want people to click the link and that's all? In the source code, they have a rel="nofollow" which tells google et all to ignore the link. The wanting people to click makes sense, but if you edit it into an old post, who is reading that? So they make a post first and then edit the link later so that they don't get caught? Interesting. The target group would be, for example, me, because I tend to once in a while look around for random threads, I don't follow most of the forum day-to-day, except for "subscribed thread", so I see a lot of older posts. But that is quite niche The nofollow is a think I should have know, it's just so long since I made web pages! I guess you're an audience, but that's a tiny audience tbh. Not a lot of people are necessarily going back ^^ The nofollow thing is really basics, always a good thing to know
That's a new experience to me, being called "tiny"

Ironically, while the mods kinda hate me, they also seem to kinda like my reports.
Sorry, Ej

Reported by opisska and banned by seeker, I can't imagine a fate worse than that.

I like totally abusing logic in this regard:
"60% of my reports lead to a ban, so do you really want to risk pissing me off? I could report 3-4 of your posts right now, and statistics mean that you are basically certain to get banned!"
I basically have an amazing superweapon, because my ban is really powerful according to the statistics that this site gives to me.

Says we need to stop being so lenient with you. Gives only 2 days ban.

I was wondering that myself. I'm also wondering if this person was banned after making a long rant about the tl.net marxist mod conspiracy.

Kickboxer would never post this:
I am an anarchist (far-bottom-left on the political compass). I am a libertarian (on the bottom of the compass). I am socialist (left-leaning on the compass).

There was one PBU banned recently who was claiming to be a liberal whilst expressing what can only be called conservative ideas, so it is far more useful to pay attention to what they are arguing for, rather than what they say they are. So in that vein it is probably the same PBU, but who knows. The recent spate of PBU's all seem to have broadly speaking, the same political views and the same way of writing. Perhaps they are all the same person, or perhaps they are naturally attuned to writing the same way.

hoangtaybaokiem1993 was just banned by Seeker.
That account was created on 2019-01-19 13:45:00 and had 1 posts.
Reason: The fuck kind of bot are you? A copy/pasta karma whore?
Might I kindly suggest, to anyone considering it, NOT being a copy/pasta karma whore.

There are a lot of PBU bans in the auto ban thread recently. Looks like someone is hell-bent on posting here, no matter the rules.

Oh, I see. He'll get bored of it eventually though. Just like the guy who kept making alts with usernames insulting Tofu. I think his name was [Shield] or something. Either way, they'll give up at some point.
