We still required a win by at least 2.0 points, which let to some quite funny situations. That is amazing. How many problems did you have with people who are bad with fractions? Because in my experience, a lot of people are very bad with fractions.

Because in my experience, a lot of people are very bad with fractions. Well, I did all the counting myself (when I didn't play, people counted normally) and that eliminated problems. Also the camp is astronomical, people gather with telescopes far from city light, so those are likely to be more mathematically inclined anyway. I wouldn't ask some of them to add fractions quickly, but they can at least understand how much it is and who is winning ![]()

I think those studies are skewed (either way). What i do think is quite simple: when i had to wear a mask it helped me "be in that mode".. a "spread no infection mode". This "practice" (to wear a mask to not cough / spit in people's faces when applicable) is a way to make people aware (not scared mind you!) of how things work. People get into situations and they see the world better.. wearing a mask when you are sick is like taking a placebo, it allows for you to remember all day that you have to wash your hands take your pills.. .. it signals to others that you are weakened and in need of extra leeway or other.. .. it means you care about not COUGHING on other people!! etc etc.. life is mindsets isn't it? Anyway, fact is humans are a giant interchanging cesspool and that we all share it is the only reason that our specie survives (only strongest survive yes). No! no! Really what the subject is here (for me) .. is no one (me included) wants to be pointed at while doing something "good" for others, it is an uber castrate type of picture we draw for ourselves when we contemplate using a mask or not. Which is why our culture has great difficulty in doing it.. we place all on ourselves.. no? i for one am happy that people don't want to spit in my face.. and i feel compelled to return the favor when i'm real sick and snot. ps edit: + Show Spoiler [modshootout] + sorry for off topicness, please temp ban someone (possibly me ![]() please no more than 2 days ![]() I love how you preach respect for others yet often cant be bothered to post in a way easily readable for others "Can't be bothered" is your skewed way of appraising things (without a clue i might add, or did i already?). So sorry if you feel i do it out of laziness.. ( i me&an that you project what you do yourself unto others like that, ignoring reality..) You having a hard time reading it (or anyone else) might be your issue no? No that couldn't be it ![]() In any case, just to be clear, you are wrong i always bother and make efforts. i do it because that is who i am on internet, mind you i take no joy/pride/anything out of it .. it is the way it is.. by the way, tl made me this way on internet, no grudges held, merely causality. i popped my "leisure" forum cherry on it and was all nice and helpful.. they banned me for being 15 years older than their admin .. now i am just helpful, the nice get kicked off and picked on too often for my taste on intern e t... So funny how you always type a mean message when i"m banned. i'd add an illegal emote to dress it up(set up my victory condition and win) .. but you seem poorly equipped to retort and i'm not overly interested. Then again i had to get back on topic. ![]()

more interest, i didnt even know there were 16 mods. WhiteDog was just temp banned for 2 weeks by tofucake. That account was created on 2010-11-08 21:14:17 and had 7268 posts. Reason: You've been warned or banned about posting terribly by 16 different mods. That's really hard to do. Maybe you'll pay attention this time?

Unless I accidently counted a few twice as there are a few mods. There is quite a few mods in theory, but most are inactive. I tend towards the more inactive side. If you look at report handling 18 mods handled at least one report, but five handled 20 or more. This is actually more spread out perhaps compared to when Kadaver handled pretty much all the reports. Mind you, the number of reports are waaay down compared to when I first started. There's maybe an average of 7-10 per day unless something crazy happens. Whereas we used to have 30 open and undealt with reports, nevermind all the reports that had already been dealt with that day. On November 28 2016 10:02 LegalLord wrote: Idra or fanatacist would be good bets for beating "16 different mods" due to a combination of longevity and tendency to get temps where others would get perms. Actually, I think only 17 or so for Idra. The reason for that as I remember, is a lot of us newer mods either weren't willing or weren't really supposed to moderate someone like Idra without someone higher up giving the go ahead. So usually we would draw attention to Idra's posting behind the scenes and wait until Chill, Manifesto, Nazgul or someone that had been in the community for longer than us would decide to swing the hammer.
