It's a huge help actually, because in a crazy thread like that mods can't keep up if we have to identify bad posts, check post histories, and make bans. Thanks guys.

Man. The LR thread was crazy tonight. I kept seeing posts after posts of bad material and QQing. It was sad.... Even with the warnings the number of shifty posts still persisted.

Thanks for the help tonight. We had over 100 reports while the games were going on and about 95% were spot on.

Ah people, I just saw the GSL and I kept a tab open on the automated banlist thread just incase, ~5 pages were added no?also JWD bringing the pain.

Any chance we can always have that BAN in place for whiners in live report threads? I am usually dependent on following the live report threads because i am at work when GSL is played. Lately most of the threads is 95% spam and 2-3people trying to actually Live Report (which im really thankful off <3 ).
Also its already good riddance of getting them away before TSL starts tonight/tomorrow, maybe LR will actually work!

what's with all the bans about forcefields? i don't really follow the GSL or pro tournies in general. What did the guy do exactly to make people whine about forcefields? Should i be worried about this in future vs Toss games?

I wonder if the LR stuff will ever truly be void of all this bs. It's annoying not being able to watch the games and then not being able to read LR to see what went on.

Agree, but i doubt it will ever get better regardless of what the mods do, it is simply out of their control. I made the mistake of actually going into one of the 3 "FF is OP!" topics and if you disagree you get this:
Watch the game again. Watch the production tab. Now shut up and stop talking shit.

Only way live reports will get fixed is if they give out special badges to people with a history of actually give updates on the matches. Then you can either make it so only those people can post in LR or that they get highlighted or something.
If TL really wants live report threads with just updates and not all the other spammy discussions they'll have to implement a new policy. You can't stem the tide with just bannings.
Feel bad for the mods/admins, seems like so many hours of work to tame the beast.

Well I found the Blue thing in the strat forum has helped a bit. There just aren't enough good people posting in these threads so it's tough.

ABL is making my day right now. Boesthius on a warpath and it's so righteous and necessary. Cheered me up after trying to keep up with the awful content of the TSL LR thread while watching the stream today.

IMO there should be a "till end of TSL" ban, so we can compare today's LR thread with the LR thread of the finals and see how much the bans help. You know, for science.

Actually compared to the GSL LR thread the TSL thread was amazingly civil. We didn't even have to use a bold red note.
