I'd personally finance hectoliters of coffee for any mod willing to wade through the Japan earthquake thread and warn/ban for every single inappropriate, tasteless, provoking or plain stupid comment.
There's already a lot of red text in the thread but there could be so much more. I really don't know what some people are thinking when they hit "post".

Somehow i feel that reason is appropriate for the majority of bans that come up in the thread.. but then i guess we wouldn't get to read the incredibly inventive and descriptive reasons that the mods come up with  .. Brood and Manifesto come to mind - scary stuff

I, too, enjoy the pleasures that this Automated Ban List brings.
Unfortunately, what I also see in this thread is that, as many have noted before me, most of the people that post in this thread eventually get warned/banned at some point along the line on this site.

All I can say is that I'll try to be on my best behavior and not say anything stupid along the line. That said, most of the people that do get banned deserve it. One I could remember was healingproof's permaban. I don't know how his behavior was on TL, but the dude had the nerve to go on to SlayerS_Cella's stream chat and spew some dumbass racist shit pretty much the whole time he was there. I'm sure he was no different on TL.
So, I shouldn't have to worry as long as I behave as close to a saint as possible.

I think Kennigit and Chill are both strong contenders in the "excellent ban reasons" sweepstakes. SonuvBob and Riptide also have their own gems of hilarity.
For anyone who has not done so, and can spare the time, I wholeheartedly recommend reading the Automated Ban List in its entirety. All 582 pages of it. It is so worth it, and helps to flesh out some of TeamLiquid's history.
