BadBorz was just temp banned for 1 week by KadaverBB. That account was created on 2012-06-15 03:35:08 and had 19 posts. Reason: Asking for maphacks is pretty dumb dude. I don't think a week is long enough for someone who was actively looking for a way to cheat. SC cheaters have been permed before on TL and IMO looking for the cheats is the same thing as doing it

Zanzabarr was just temp banned for 1 week by salle. That account was created on 2010-10-21 23:50:36 and had 148 posts. Reason: For doing some "funny" additions to Liquipedia http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Special:Contributions/Zanzabarr the only time I've ever done a funny addition on LP http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/index.php?title=4/5_Pool&diff=prev&oldid=41101

The oov thread kinda died down but it was already quite derailed, and there were so many people posting without reading the rest of the 'translations'. What a mess that thread was. I expect the MKP thread to get closed too, soon. Massive derailments now too. I believe it is now about hypersexualization of women in LoL. O.o Flash also lost a game to State T_T

O.o Flash also lost a game to State T_T ya, got derailed like crazy. Doesn't help that there was so much flaming going on. I think whoever closed it did the right choice as much as I wanted to comment lol. MKP thread got derailed a ton more though. People comparing dota2 and LoL instead of just talking about the topic. I think mods should've tried to stir that back on track and give bans for anyone who evens goes off topic but who knows. Guess they didn't want to ban half of TL even if they would be justified imo. Still, sad that MKP moved to LoL imo. He was one of the only micro players in the beginning of SCII and someone who clearly dominated by micro(not that his macro was bad or anything lol). He will be missed! well, he still won State so that's all that matters to me XD I haven't seen his games in a while so I dunno what his level is atm. edit: turns out thread is still open lol. More on track as well, good job mods(if they helped XD)

It's difficult to trust people who've translated stuff if they are not well known or have never done it before. It's also really difficult if you're not grammatically accurate with your English writing/typing skills. So many things can be taken out of context or misconstrued if something gets even slightly mistranslated. Which is why translating is always such a ballsy contribution.

That is why everyone loves you <3 And yeah people should be more careful before translating. But readers need to be more vigilant in actually confirming if the translation is accurate. Might as well just be hearsay unless the person is a known able translator.

But I've made plenty of mistakes myself ![]() #1 thing translators need to remember, is that when a crisis occurs because of a mistranslation, they have to be willing to take 100% of the blame, and then do everything in their power to try to fix it. And believe me... Even that is sometimes not enough.
