This thread is for discussing recent bans. Don't discuss other topics here.

Take it to website feedback if you disagree with a ban or want to raise an issue.

Keep it civil.

NOTE: For those of you who want to find the actual ABL thread where the bans are posted. Please look in here: https://tl.net/forum/closed-threads/

It's a bit sad how much of their affective life and need for recognition some people invest on this forum

Shellbot replies within seconds though, time doesn't really mean anything.

Packrat confirms it though. He was a good guy in LR threads so I hope he comes back

but replying in seconds from the same ip on different accounts seems weird. at least all my replies are from the same account

and yea it was nice having someone else live report

Different browsers? It's pretty easy to do but really odd.

Can you imagine if he really does that? Chrome for The_Templar, Firefox for Horn, IE for JohnAddams, dang.

Actually, maybe The_Templar was a robot, and Horn and JohnAddams were his attempts to be more 'human'. The_Templar was Shellbot's LR protege so he might be a bot too. Then, unhappy with his supreme intellect and technological singularity, experimented on mimicking human behavior, hoping to become more human.

Not offended in the least, it is rather disheartening to attempt to take part in a conversation on a forum and have the discussion completely skip you though.

See it all the time when new people try and pop into threads like the ABL, and just get pushed to the side.

Those people shouldn't feel bad though, because 100% of ABL replies are interactions among alts.

I think we just had a 4750 reply LR without a single ban. What's going on? :s

From what I was able to listen to, most of the match ups seem to have been pretty cut and dry. I expected some TvP whining a bit, but pretty stable all around.

hard to believe the_Templar got banned for 3 months. I mean I haven't spoken to him a lot but never got a bad impression from his posts. Wonder if his alts were to vent about something that he saw but didn't want to mess his good record on TL. I also wonder if the 90 day ban isn't harsh though. Why not 30 days considering his contribution and such or was that taken into account?

Wow has the decline in popularity of sc2 and the relentless purging by tl staff finally removed the poopy posters from the sc2 forum? Now there is just the lol, dota, general and all the other forums to go.

Could be the Dreamhack spirit. Would be really interesting to see a ban/post ratio compared to MLG to see if there could be something to it, but that would probably take some serious R1CH magic.
