Hey, what can we do to start requesting bans for OTHER people? In absence of a reportable post, I mean. For example, I feel I should be able to request that dAPhREAk be banned for no less than 3 lunar cycles. I'll wait for someone to get back to me on this.
Kennigit is using his powers to request bans for other people according to his blog lol, I feel like, in the name of egalitarianism, that ability should be given to all of us .

In Game of Thrones, two episodes ago, one of the characters, who has before been mentioned as willing to "burn the kingdom if he could rule the ashes" made a monologue about how chaos is not a pit that should be avoided, but a ladder ripe with opportunity for advancement. Someone dubbed it over by making a SC2 version of teams and people who have fallen in their attempts to "climb the ladder."

I miss Nyovne's ban poems. Some of them were so apt, or sad. I nominate Kadaver to be the next poetic one as he seems to have done most of the banning recently That said I quite like his witty ban reasons. Possible upcoming favourite mod. And I don't say that to earn favour with him either.
Edit: I think instead of requesting bans one should try to demonstrate self control. You'll learn far more from it rather than raging in your head/out loud and being unable to post about it. But I know how addictive this site can be so I can also understand that there is less motivation to come on here if you can't express your opinion.

You will be doing a lot more small battles compared to sc2. Work out the proper combinations to kill things. Harass is strong.

A lot of potential advise is based on which race, or vs which race.
Drones/probes/scvs are immensely more powerful in broodwar. Do not be afraid to use them to 'drill' if needed. They aren't attacked at the highest priority like in sc2.
Control groups will make it tougher. Build all of your production buildings together, or in later game, all together in a 2nd location. That way when you mass build, you can just click on the area and spam build from all.
