Hopefully it is not against the rules to mention one's own ban... in any case... Yes, I mainly post in General. I mainly read the threads, because the topics are usually pretty relevant to news in the world, and the discussion are fascinating. If I commented a fraction of how much I read replies, I might have 10 times the amount of posts, for better or worse :D I actually did post a lot in SC2 threads back in the earlier parts of WOL. Back then I was playing the game somewhat often, and I was watching streams/tournaments a TON. In fact, I used to post very frequently in GSL/MLG/Dreamhack/etc LR threads -- and I used to say things like "UGH FUCK BLUE FLAME HELLIONS!!!!", which actually got me a couple bans, too. I have another ban for getting very heated and defending Apple against the hordes of anti-Apple people I am somewhat of an Apple fanboy. I understand that Macs suck in this gaming industry, that they are somewhat pricey, and that Apple is really annoying in how they capitalize on the state of the US patent system, but nonetheless a Mac was my first computer back in the late 90s when I was in elementary school. Mech Warrior was my first game. I was too young to really grasp what a Mech Warrior was, but hell, it was pretty fun. Tomb Raider I shortly after... then II... and it's been Mac ever since  In any case, apologies for actin' a fool by getting all bogged down on butting heads with somebody in a stupid way, adios! | ||

You can think radically different on hot topics, but it increases your chances of getting banned because people slip and get too aggressive and inflammatory. Ah wait....But here the best part. The pinnacle of their insanity!! They got a transexual or a crossdresser or whatever they're called as a member over there and their mods ban anyone who doesn't pretend that he is a she. I mean you can't even mention it. Not even with admiration(HE is a highly skilled member and quite respected there). He just decided one day he wanted to be a girl and just like that everyone has to pretend along with him that he is a girl or be banned. I mean come on, that is just insane. Here is the entire post. Apparently he is some kind of super troll or something with no life that thinks its great to troll people on the internet. That whole thread is about trolling but I found his take on TL an interesting read to say the least. | ||
