i didn't think the ambiguity in my post was significant enough to warrant attention. i interpreted moonbear's post as moderation (ban > warning > post) and commented on it. the thread was on the verge of derailing, but re-railed without any warnings or bans being dished out. it ended well (with only a moderation post). all's well that ends well: an event that has a good ending is good even if some things went wrong along the way. i figured commenting on moderation actions was well within the confines of the thread, but clearly i was mistaken in some way. @amazomb i am not questioning the legitimacy of my ban, i'm inquiring into the reasoning behind it. there is probably a reasonable explanation for it. i don't think there's any need to start a thread in website feedback. i figured the answer would be interesting to you guys / gals, hence no pm. edit: had to add a very crucial 'not', bolded. | ||

With the bang up job CNN is doing might as well Retro ban anyone in that thread that linked,referenced or implied CNN might have an answer.
